Cold and flu season is here, and despite our best efforts we will occasionally get sick. Here are a few tips we would like to recommend for oral care when sick:
🤒 Replace your toothbrush: Flu viruses can live up to 72 hours on wet surfaces
🤒 Use Sugar-Free Cough Drops: There are 2.5 grams of sugar in a cherry cough drop. That can add up throughout the day
🤒 Rinse your mouth after vomiting: Your teeth will be covered with stomach acid, so don't brush right away. Just swish and spit with water
🤒 Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate, with tooth-friendly beverages
