Out of 4 local (Carlisle) companies I called, Direct Tanks were the only ones who responded and acted as though they wanted my business. From initial discussion of my requirements for replacing existing oil tank, to me sending photos, receiving a quote by return, and the job being done within a week, the communications, friendliness and professionalism were faultless. Brilliant service. Alister and his son were very polite and accommodating. Replaced my old oil tank set up my new tank and gave me a full resume of what they had done and what I had to do if I needed them or if I had an emergency. The service was top notch. Couldn’t fault the company or the people who run the business. Thank you.

I contacted Allister at 8.30 am . He and Ewan drove to The Scottish Borders from Dumfries and by 2.30 pm I had the oil from my leaking tank removed and a new tank installed !! A real emergency !!. The speed and efficiency of the work was truly amazing. They asked me to send photographs of my old tank to make sure they arrived with all the correct materials. They did a solid base to hold the new tank and disposed of all contaminated oil. I cannot praise them enough and would not hesitate to recommend this company. A great end to a disastrous situation for me.

Alistair & Ewan replaced my old heating oil tank and they did a first class job. They arrived on time, did exactly what they said very quickly and cleaned up any mess. If I could give them six stars, I would have. Highly recommend these these guys, great team!

Found that my oil tank was leaking at about 8.30am, phoned Direct Tanks and they classed it as an emergency and came asap. 1hr later they arrived to inspect the tank. They confirmed that the oil tank needed replacing, so the quote was to empty the existing tank, remove the tank (which needed cutting out of the oil store), prepare the base, fit new tank, connect up new fittings and refill with rescued oil. By 3.30pm we had a new non leaking oil tank with a new digital oil level gauge. They exceeded my expectations and the speed of repair was 2nd to none. I cannot recommend them strongly enough. Well done for your fast and expert work.
