Used these guys to install a needed fuel pump in my diesel truck. The work took longer than expected. Afterwards they told me it was done and to come pick it up. On arrival after an hour drive, truck was still in bay and they reported it would not start.
They were pumping a lot on primer to no avail. Clearly to me one of the many fuel lines in valley was loose enough to prevent proper fuel pressure, tho they clearly believed it was the fuel primer assembly, I stated it worked fine a week ago when i installed that fresh new fuel filter. Ileft that Friday without my truck. On Monday I was called and told it was ready, that the guy had worked on Saturday to finish.
They claimed that a fuel line was loose as I suspected, but they also replaced and charged me without permission the fuel primer assembly and fuel filter. I suspect over the weekend they fired the yee old parts cannon ( at my expense) at primer assembly because it was easier job than the valley and than found out that it was indeed a fuel line loose.
I drove the truck without issue for quite a few miles, but after about 3000 miles, the fuel filter replacement went to zero, this could be because of them, a bad fuel filter, or bad fuel somewhere. I replaced the fuel filter for the 3rd time in 3500 miles.
Than another day the AC suddenly stopped working, (they removed AC compressor and Freon for job) than it suddenly started working again. Freon and compressor were full and free.
So I started inspecting wires, I have found an alternator wire not secured properly and melting on a hot pipe, and another wire at back of assembly completely cut off. Still searching other errors.
You might say its a vehicle, well i bought it new 85k miles ago, and other than oil changes and air filter no one has been deep on that truck ever. You could be right, those wires and issues simply could have occurred on there own as they do.
I however will not be using this shop again or recommending, as multiple problems are occurring that didn't before ( AC, fuel filters, wires cut or loose, and issues during repair due to negligence)after they did service to replace a fuel pump(LML CP4 mod) Not to mention the about 100 miles on odometer i noted while they had it. (100 mile test drive?) Nope watch out here folks
