As temperatures rise here in Southwest Florida, so does the temperature of your pavement! โ๏ธ
Did you know asphalt can get EXTREMELY hot โ often much hotter than the air temperature? That means it can quickly burn bare feet and your petsโ paws.
๐ If itโs too hot to touch with your hand, itโs too hot to walk on!
โ Walk pets early morning or later in the evening
โ Stick to shaded areas or grass when possible
โ Protect those paws (and feet!) from serious burns
