My wife and I were very pleased with the bathroom renovation by Dave DeVries and his team. He provided a detailed quote and was very good at communication during the shower/bathtub/tile remove and replacement project. Dave was onsite most days to ensure the project proceeded as needed and to discuss decisions that needed to be made. In the end my wife told Dave the the final result was "more than she could have hoped for". We would use DeVries Construction again.

The materials quoted were of mid-high-end quality, and Dave explained that we could choose alternatives to fit our budget without significantly affecting labor costs. The project was completed on budget, with Dave guiding us on where to invest in better materials and where to save. Throughout the project, Dave kept us informed of progress and any delays or setbacks. Quality: The project was completed on time, and we are extremely satisfied with the quality of work performed by Dave and his team. They paid close attention to details in drywall, flooring, painting, and woodwork. On several occasions, Dave’s team took extra time to ensure everything met their high standards. Professionalism: Dave and his team respected our home and made every effort to accommodate our needs. They protected all surfaces that were not being changed, taped off heat vents and return air registers to limit dust, and ensured the space was cleaned up at the end of each day. The team was friendly, provided valuable input and ideas, and maintained a professional demeanor throughout the project. We highly recommend Dave and his amazing team for any renovation project!

We had a concrete 1927 unfinished basement and wanted to bring it up to modern times. We wanted something that our family could relax in, our kids could play in and that would add value to our house when reselling. DeVries Construction delivered. In 8 weeks’, they added a full suite Bathroom, finished laundry room, office, recreational and mechanical room. I was worried that the work would be sub-par, have leaks or just be plain mediocre but the team exceeded my expectations and delivered a finished basement that I am proud of and better than my family dreamed of. Dave, Richard and all the workers were nothing but genuine and professional. They went through the plans time and time again, were communicative of any changes and decisions that needed to be made and were more than available to answer any questions we had through the whole process. They cleaned up at the end of everyday and went through their work with a tooth-comb to ensure they only delivered fine quality workmanship. We have used DeVries for several renovation projects on our house. Their prices are fair. I’ve always appreciated Dave’s honest and straight-forward approach. He explains the details in a way I can understand despite having no construction background. The team has always been professional, respectful and tidy. The crew were friendly, professional, and kept disruption to our living spaces to a minimum. Dave & crew did our attic / firewall / garage ceiling a couple years ago, and now a full basement reno this winter.
