After spending two decades as an academic dermatologic surgeon, Dr. Ratner opened her own New York dermatology practice specializing in the surgical treatment of patients with skin cancer at the end of 2018. Dr. Ratner has over 24 years of experience in providing quality, patient-centered dermatological care, focusing on Mohs micrographic dermatologic surgery, excisional procedures and reconstruction. Dr. Ratner's staff is professional and highly trained, and their goal is to make certain that all patients receive the highest standard of care, while feeling personally welcomed and cared for. Dr. Ratner has been included in New York's Super Doctors since 2009 and in New York Magazine's Best Doctors since 2014.

A dear friend introduced us to Dr. Ratner as we were challenged by a recurrence of a basil cell carcinoma in a dear friend who is 87 years young. Surgery had been performed but a reoccurrence happened. We are ever so grateful for the competence, care, and knowledge of Dr. Ratner in stating that there would be no further surgery but that a special medicine could block the growth of this BCC. We thank God and Dr. Ratner for the good outcome that we are experiencing. Gratefully, Mary E. Mygatt

Dr. Ratner is a wonderful surgeon and a terrific person. She always makes me comfortable and let's me know what the plan is and what to expect. Dr. Ratner checks up after procedures to make sure everything is good and answers questions thoroughly. I feel extremely well cared for.
