Bret and AnnaMarie were incredibly helpful in finding me a property on short notice and I was installed within less than 2 weeks. Office is always open for payments and any issues you may have. They have a team of licensed local repair specialists and also a in house handyman for smaller jobs. I dare say any negative reviews they have had are from less than stellar tenants who are projecting. If you pay on time, keep your house in good order and respect your neighbors you will have no problems leasing from Desert Sun.

Bret and his team went above and beyond in serving both my home rental and home purchase needs. Due to an emergency situation, I needed an rental home immediately. Bret and Anna had me fully moved into a beautiful home in Boulder City within a couple of days! Just several months later, the Desert Sun Team found and walked me through my first home purchase in Green Valley. Attempted to lease a home in Boulder City. Desert Sun Realty's Leasing manager - Initials are "AM" was our contact. Our story: we were fully approved. but due to business travel we could not move in immediately. We brought this very important issue to the attention of the leasing manager. She agreed that this wouldn't be an issue and that she would notify us if any new applicants applied. She also stated that she would give us the "first right of refusal" and if another applicant applied we could give a nonrefundable deposit to hold the home for a January 1, 2013, move-in date. Needless to say, we were counting on this home. Approximately two weeks ago (early December 2012), we received a call from her assistant indicating that the home had been leased and that we should "call back in 6-9 months to inquire if anything is available." This certainly ruined our year! Since the phone call from the assistant and have left messages with the leasing manager to call me back to explain why she didn't keep her word and act professionally. I haven't heard anything. I must also add that I made a complaint with the office manager over a month ago that the leasing manager would rarely return my phone calls. No one addressed this issue either. If you're seeking to lease a home in Boulder City, and from the way I was treated (my opinion as well) I wouldn't recommend this company or this leasing agent.

Do NOT work with Desert Sun unless your are prepared to handle unresponsiveness, irresponsibility, and deal with hassles and inconveniences. My now-husband and I found a house we wanted to rent in Henderson when we first moved to the Las Vegas valley. From the beginning, the leasing manager, Anna, was unresponsive to our relator. Eventually we were able to get in touch with her ourselves to see the house, and were able to move in within 2 weeks. Throughout our time leasing the property, we had issues that Anna would need to be repeatedly contacted to address, however, they were few and far between that it was not too bothersome and we were able to shrug them off. HOWEVER, when we moved out, I talked to Anna regarding the water service to the property. In our past experiences, the water needs to remain running to a property, otherwise the property is condemned. I called Anna to ask her specifically what to do regarding the water service, and she told me to leave it on and that she would call the City of Henderson and have the water transferred to Desert Sun. Well, that never happened, and after continuing to receive water bills for the property despite no longer living there, I called Anna and was advised that the water service would be transferred. She also told me to send her the bill, which I did. I no longer wanted to deal with the hassles of continuing to receive bills, so I had the water discontinued. I received the final bill and met with her assistant at the property and gave him the bill. At that time, I was told that the previous bill had not been paid because Anna "didn't want to have to make two payments". I was assured that this bill would be taken care of. The bill was due Monday January 28th, and as of 5PM on Friday Feb 1st, it has not been paid. I again contacted Desert Sun and was told by Dusty that Anna "had been busy" and "hasn't gotten around to it". He gave me her cell phone number, and when I called her I immediately was put into voicemail and left her a message. I then called back to Desert Sun and was told this would be followed up on Monday Feb 4th. I'm very skeptical.

Between Bret, his Transaction Coordinator, Cherry Aton, and their associates, we received the highest level of professionalism, communication, and timely responses during the entire process. This gave us peace of mind and complete confidence that we were being taken care of with OUR best interest in mind.
