Desert Forest Animal Hospital is by far the best place to take your babies. The staff is amazing and Dr.Waters is so loving and caring. Plus she takes the time to truly explain and help you with whatever your baby needs. We are moving away and Poe and Zeus are truly gonna miss them. Thank you for all you guys did for Flash and now Poe and Zeus. With love!

Desert Forest Animal Hospital has earned my absolute trust and gratitude. They’ve provided exceptional care not just for my beloved corgi mix, Dahlia, but also for Sigil, a fragile neonatal kitten who was surrendered to me in desperate need. The compassion, professionalism, and genuine dedication shown by every member of their team is unmatched. Whether it’s routine care for my longtime companion or the delicate handling of a newborn rescue, they treat every animal like their own. I’m so thankful to have a vet I can rely on in both everyday and urgent situations. Five stars isn’t enough - Desert Forest is a treasure to our community.

We moved to Cave Creek in 2013. During our 5 years there, we found Dr. Tracy to be the best gift we could have found! She took wonderful care of our Basset Hound and Bengal cat! Our cat's former vet marked her file "wild" but she was not. Dr. Tracy had no problem handling her gently and thoroughly. Thank you, Dr. Tracy!!

Update:08/24/22 Kaylah is eating like a horse, wagging her tail, and walking around. Thanks again to the Desert Forest Folks who were and are there for us! Many thanks to the Desert Forest Animal Hospital who took us in when the Animal Health Veterinary Services we have used for 15 years had no time for us and our ill senior dog. We want to deeply thank Casey who found a way so we could get an appointment and see Dr. Waters. She got us an appointment for our German Short Hair Pointer who was in sudden ill health. I highly recommend this Animal Veterinary group. The compassion and great bedside manner of Dr Waters, Naomi, Casey, Lauren, and other associates ( ASU student vet) was outstanding! They are very people & dog focused, very knowledgeable, and notably demonstrative about their concern for animals. They have now become our Veterinary Group of Choice! God Bless Them All They are Beyond Outstanding!

I am so so happy to have found Desert Forest! We just moved here a month ago and needed to get established with a vet for our 2 dogs. Our golden suddenly started coughing. They got us in the next day and treated him and he’s already much better. The staff are so welcoming and sweet. Dr. Waters was very thorough and took a lot of time with us. Also providing info on rattlesnake training and other helpful points being new to living here in the mountains. Such a relief for us! We are so happy.

We are very happy with the service and staff at Desert Forest. All the staff have been welcoming, attentive to details and they reply to questions quickly, via phone and text. Our kitties like the staff too!

Staff is fantastic and Dr. Waters never rushes the appointment and shows honest concern for the health of my forever friend, Lucy Lu. From my heart I want to thank Dr. Laura Waters, Desert Forest Animal Hospital, for taking such good care of our beloved MizMolly, without her Molly would not have survived Melanoma. My family vet missed it! In fact, she ignored the tumor! I decided on a “second opinion,” found Desert Forest Animal Hospital in Cave Creek, AZ. They set up an appointment immediately and on that first visit & without hesitation, Dr. Waters diagnosed the tumor as Melanoma. She removed the tumor immediately! Biopsy indicated it was cancer. Dr. Waters moved quickly when 3 additional tumors found on eyelid. Helped me find an oncologist. Dr. Waters worked with the oncologist, moving forward very quickly, hoping MizMolly was a candidate for Melanoma vaccine, Onset. Dr. Waters quick actions allowed MizMolly the opportunity to take Onset, possibly surviving Melanoma. She is currently in “remission” but is being monitored every 3 months. The Desert Forest Animal Hospital staff is professional, efficient, with timely follow-ups. I cannot recommend Desert Forest Animal Hospital, Cave Creek, AZ highly enough. They saved my girl acting with care, clinical knowledge and skills, compassion, confidence, flexibility, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Dr. Waters helped our adopted dog Drake feel so much better! When we got him he had been neglected and had a lot of skin and eye issues even after months of treatment. We were still struggling with skin and eye issues and we found Dr. Waters. Drake is doing great!

I have been taking my Morkie to this office for a while now. Earlier this year the doctor discovered he required surgery to remove bladder stones. Surgery went well, but there was a significant amount of follow-up. Dr Remen and the staff were excellent throughout the process.
