I had tooth pain over the weekend and Des Moines Emergency Dentist was there to help! I was pretty nervous before coming in since I usually get anxious about dental visits, but as soon as I walked in, everyone was so welcoming and kind. The team made me feel comfortable right away, and any nerves I had completely disappeared. Dr. Alex took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood what was going on and explained things to me in a way that I understood. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping people and wants every patient to feel at ease. The office is beautiful and open, with a calm, relaxing vibe — honestly, it doesn’t even feel like a dental office, more like a spa. The chairs are super comfortable, the lighting and music are relaxing, and they even have headphones and shows to watch, which helped me stay calm the whole time. The technology here is amazing. They use a 3D X-ray that was super easy and quick, and they even have equipment that allows them to make same-day crowns right in the office. Everything was efficient, precise, and way less stressful than I expected. I was so impressed that they can do so much same-day treatment right here in Des Moines and Urbandale. If you’re someone who usually gets anxious about going to the dentist, this is the place to go. I felt cared for from start to finish, and now I actually look forward to coming back for my regular visits.

I called on a Friday morning with severe tooth pain and got it fixed that same day! Dr. Alex is very knowledgeable. He talked me through every step and made sure I understood what he was saying. Alissa made sure I was comfortable and answered any questions I had. Both are people person which makes the process reassuring. I have no doubt this new business will go places!!

Went in with no insurance and a dream to get rid of a bothersome toothache. Only to end up finding out something more serious lurking in the dark! Doctor Alex and his staff were very informal and lead me through the process with the upmost kindness and professionalism. Got my wisdom tooth and the little troublemaker tooth removed, gums cleaned and stitched within a few hours after arrival. Very awesome team and would highly recommend them for future dental procedures. Thank you Doctor Alex and staff for all your wonderful work in the field!

Labor Day weekend. Worst time for tooth problems. I called and was able to get in the same day on a Sunday. Ended up having 2 teeth pulled due to a very painful infection and a swollen face. They took great care of me and made sure to explain every step so I knew what I was about to experience. I’ve never seen a dentist that took the actual time to make sure the patient was comfortable until now. 5 stars, highly recommend. Clean office. Friendly staff, and a dentist that made me feel the most comfortable I ever have about sitting in that chair.

Dr. Alex and Alissa are wonderful! The clinic has advanced technology and you can tell the team truly cares about your comfort and health. I was so impressed with the detailed diagnosis and prompt treatment. IV and Oral antibiotics and a smooth and comfortable surgery where I didn’t feel a thing! Thank you guys :)!
