Meet Your Dental Hygienist!
Kelly joins our office after spending the last 15 years working one floor down from us at the dental office of Gregory Stone and Jay Derksen. She was born in Hayward, CA then moved to Homer, Alaska with her family in 1981 where she completed her schooling.
She attended the University of Alaska Anchorage and graduated from the dental hygiene program in 1999. She loves getting to know her patients and providing them with a thorough yet gentle cleaning. She also loves providing knowledge and demonstration on how patients can improve not only their dental health but their overall health.
When not working, Kelly loves to spend time camping and fishing with her husband, two sons and their wonderful lab/pit mix. They also have 2 cats at home and a bearded dragon which keeps their lives from ever being dull.
