Wow !! Such a gorgeous floor😀!! We are so happy with Ryan’s crew and the beautiful floor that is throughout our new home . Hardwood flooring is so lovely and the character of the wood so individual ! We are just thrilled to have it complete and the workmanship is perfect! Thank you

I do not recommend DeGrange for several reasons: - The floor is not level, and the surface coating that was used scratches easily and is not holding up like our previous oil based product. - Knots are not filled in properly. - There are depressions where knots were filled in or drawn on, as one of your employees filled them with the wrong color of filler, and then people had to use markers to hide things. - We still have bleed back of clear coat in certain areas. - There are dimples throughout the clear coat as it was put on thick, and you can see it foamed. - Swirl marks under the clear coat where it was buffed too aggressively. - Almost all rounded edges up against the carpet are all jagged and have blue tape and carpet fibers stuck in them. Quoting Ryan here: And if there are any issues caused by us then of course we will fix them if needed. He has not stood by his work, nor his word, and took money and ran. My first engagement with Ryan was him coming by the house to quote us on refinishing our hickory hardwood floor. He told me he would have a crew of people, that it would be 95-98% dustless, that we could get the color we wanted, that things would be level everywhere, and that the top coat would be extremely hard like our original oil based coating, as it would be a hybrid oil/water based product. We were quoted one week to get things done, possibly a Saturday. It took nearly 3 weeks, lots of me asking if they can fix issues, and more. Each time I was given excuses or reasons why things were the way they were. The last time they were at my house was April 30th, 2024. Decided to give it some time and reached out on June 26th, asking for someone to come by so we could walk through the remaining issues and see what could be done. I received no response. My wife called on July 1st and left a voicemail asking for some follow up, and that has also gone unanswered.

When looking for installation and refinishing of hardwood flooring in the Boise area, look no further than Degrange. We were looking for someone to refinish the hardwood floors in our living room, then match/install flooring through our kitchen and dining room in our 1950’s bungalow. Additionally, they repaired a weird seam in our entry way. I received quotes from countless flooring companies. Upon entering our home, Ryan was immediately able to identify the type of wood in my living room (pecan) and offered some really great advice on what would make the space come alive and how he would go about matching these 70 year old floors. We were throughly impressed with his knowledge and expertise. After initially thinking we should stain, Ryan suggested that we let the wood speak for itself. So that’s what we did. He set realistic expectations given the age of our floors. When Camron and his crew came in, all the guys were hardworking, professional, and friendly. Camron kept us involved every step of the way. Being an older house, things can get wonky but these gentleman made it all work without cutting corners. Ryan set the expectation that the floors would likely take a couple weeks and they got it done in half the time. These boys worked HARD! Being a real estate agent, I have worked with many different niche contractors and Degrange was by far one of the best I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. I will definitely be sending clients their way in the future. Thank you so much to Ryan and his team. We love our floors!

Multi-colored results. Sadly, this was not a positive experience for us. If you are a risk-taker, go for it, but we had two different problems that they had to come back to do over and the whole project took two months to complete. Cameron did a good job on the repair but we were still sad that things had gone so poorly. It's hard to get a good match on a repair like the two we had to have. Currently, I can't see myself seeking out this company again and I can't recommend them.

The DeGrange team are the absolute best. They went the extra mile to accommodate my needs and turned my old carpet and linoleum into the most beautiful hickory floors. It’s been 3 years and it still looks as beautiful as the day it was finished. I couldn’t be happier and wouldn’t hesitate to call them for future projects.

We would never recommend using DeGrange Hardwood Floors. These are the professional standards in their contract that were violated (we can provide a copy of signed contract to Google if owner tries to claim we didn't use his services): - provide flooring services responsibly/in a professional manner - address all call-backs/complaints in a prompt, courteous, professional manner - treat my client’s property with respect/consideration - address any problems promptly/courteously Hired to replace all carpet in two story home. Job began 5/18/20. Were told 4-5 bus days to complete upstairs & stairs. Took 11 bus days to complete (not including stairs) w/damage beyond the norm to existing baseboards/door trim due to untrained workers. Prior to the job, we had concerns as our trim is beautiful & less than 3 yrs old. We were told "minor touch up & caulking" would be needed for baseboards. Full repairs were needed. Downstairs quoted as 2-3 bus days. Took full 5, but new hardwood didn't come close to matching original as told. Hired to come back & refinish existing floor to make it match. Told 1.25 days. Took 3. Doesn't match AT ALL. Sloppy work left behind. Lots of debris sealed into main floor. Stain left smeared on bathroom walls, trim, and pedestal sink. Photos are a small sample. Owner took 4 day weekend & was not responsive. Always had excuses for why he didn't respond in a timely manner. I have many text messages of all his excuses for lateness/non-responsiveness. When Ryan came to look at the mess left behind, he apologized for the “sh&t show” and that was the last we ever saw of him. Never even came back to clean up the disaster that was left behind. Looks like they currently have a lien against their business as well. Buyer beware.

Ryan recommended a beautiful shade and refinished our hardwood floors. We would use him again in a heartbeat! Very professional, let us know what to expect, and stuck to the estimated timeline. Thanks Degrange Hardwood Floors!

I called Degrange Hardwood floors following an unfortunate blunder when My dry wall was repaired. Ryan was amazing in assessing the problem and incredibly repaired my floors at a cost much less than I had anticipated. I highly recommend this company for your hardwood floor needs

Their work was good. They did a horrible job at communicating. Never finished the job, I had to stain the staircase pieces and door threshold, they wouldn’t do it. Then they charged a change order with no support. Dont use them
