PEST INSPECTION ANNERLEY 4103
While conducting a pest inspection at a property in Annerley, our Pest Inspection discovered evidence of a termite infestation. There were mud trails going up the wall.
Termites need a moist environment to survive so they build mud trails to protect themselves.
This mud trail began outside the decorative blocks hidden from view by foliage. The termites continued building a mud trail to the inside of the block wall and up into the house.
The termite trail went all the way to the roof. They ate a lot of timber structures along the way.
When Pest Inspectors always recommend keeping foliage away from the house.
There should be at least a 75 mm separation between the garden and the walls.
Something to bear in mind is that termites can invade a home via wall cavities, cracks in mortar and in concrete slabs.
An annual pest inspection especially for termites is essential. Termites can cause thousands of dollars of damage to your house. Home Insurance does NOT cover this.
Prevention is always best. Book a Pest Inspection today.
