TERMITE INSPECTION TARRAGINDI 4121
While conducting a termite inspection at a home in Tarragindi, our Pest Inspector saw 3 mud trails. Termites build mud trails to connect their colony to their food source.
Termites create mud trails from saliva, wood and soil. These trails or tunnels/tubes protect them from predators, heat and effectively become their safe highway from their colony to their food source which if it’s at a home it’s the timber struture.
Termites had gained access to the home from 3 separate locations so they were effectively eating timber structure in 3 different areas of the house.
It is these mud trails that our Pest Inspector is looking for as he inspects every aspect of a property. The trails can be on the house, timber fence, tree stumps, sheds, cubby house - anywhere there is timber that termites maybe eating.
The termite trails in the photos blend in so well to their surroundings. It took a trained eye to spot them.
Termite eradication can begin immediately and can take months to complete the course.
We cannot stress enough the importance of regular termite inspections. We uncovered 3 entry points termites had gained and the homeowner was unaware.
Prevention is so much cheaper than dealing with an infestation.
