I stayed at one of Abel’s cabins, and was very impressed with the workmanship of the cabin and surrounding deck. You could tell that it was built by people who really care about quality work –from the premium quality lumber to the solid framing and tight lines –really the best I’ve seen. The finish was striking. Even after a hard rain everything dried quickly with a crisp finish. Abel told me he uses SuperSeal 25 wood sealer, which must be a great product. The wood had a rich even color, and water beads right up on it. I saw no fuzzing or splinters which is a must if anyone ever goes barefoot. He also explains that he provides a maintenance plan and the 25-year wood-rot warranty he offers on new natural-wood installs, which gave me confidence about long-term durability. After seeing this deck up close and speaking with Abel, I’m already planning to have them tackle a larger porch project at my home. I recently hired Deck Pros Plus / Diversified Solutions for a smaller repair at my home in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and I’m really glad I did. My wood privacy fence had a leaning post, a sagging gate, and a couple of loose panels.
