Excited to share that we’ve just started a new deck project here in Washington! 🙌 The first step is always to do things the right way, so our team began with a full inspection of the existing frame to make sure everything is structurally sound and safe. Any weak spots will be reinforced, because long-term durability is just as important as the look.
Next, we’re protecting the joists with special deck tape, which helps prevent moisture damage and extends the life of the frame. This is one of those small details that many builders skip, but it makes a big difference in the Pacific Northwest climate. 🌧️
We’re replacing the old boards with a beautiful composite decking system that’s designed to handle rain, sun, and daily use without fading, splintering, or needing constant staining. Along with that, we’ll be installing brand-new modern railings for a cleaner, updated look and added safety.
