Step by step – literally! 👷♂️ Today our crew is building and installing the new deck staircase in Kirkland. Strong framing and precision cuts are key here: each stringer is carefully measured, leveled, and reinforced to meet code and ensure long-term durability.
These stairs will connect the freshly installed composite decking above with the backyard space below, creating a smooth and safe transition. We use pressure-treated lumber for framing and cover the stringers with protective trim to match the deck, not only for aesthetics but also for moisture protection.
Once the frame is complete, we’ll move forward with installing the same premium composite decking boards on the steps for a seamless look. The end result: low-maintenance, weather-resistant stairs that stay beautiful year after year.
