My father in law booked a fishing excursion with Captain Roland at Day Sharpe Charters for my 7 year old twin boys, myself, and my husband. Roland's boat, teaching, instructions, fishing knowledge, and overall patience and personality were top tier. My one son said he wished we could "turn around and go again." Roland is the best Charter guide I have ever been on and it’s not even close. I live in Michigan and bass fish all the time, came to Cape Coral for a vacation and man did I luck out getting hooked up with Captain Roland. He knows exactly what he’s doing and he’s a very knowledgeable and a respectful young man. The tarpon in my profile pic I caught with him on the trip. We caught countless fish. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into for this charter and Captain Roland blew my expectations out of the water. 1,000/10 experience highly recommend.

Easiest 5 stars. My friends from the U.K. and I booked the Iguana hunt. Capt Roaland kept us well informed right from booking due to the weather and fortunately we were able to go when it cleared up. On the trip he was highly professional, valuing our safety but also ensuring we had a lot of fun. He was very personable and knowledgeable. I look forward to booking another experience with him! Capt. Roland was awesome! What a fun day catching so many different species! Snook, Crevalle Jack, Redfish, Trout, Grouper, Tarpon, a needlefish, and a massive Shark attempt! Best fishing trip I've been on! We caught so many fish it was hard to keep up! Roland is very knowledgeable, very patient, boat was pristine clean. Roland also accommodated us on short notice and was the highlight of our trip! Thanks again!

This was one of the best fishing charters I’ve ever been on. Captain Roland went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He was an excellent guide—knowledgeable about the area, skilled at finding all the best spots, and most importantly, he let us relax, fish, and truly enjoy the experience. He shared helpful tips throughout the trip, and we were able to catch some fish. We’ll definitely book with him again. Highly recommend!

Had a great trip with Roland. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about fishing and the wildlife in general. He had everything needed to catch a diverse group of fish… snook, trout, catfish, snapper. We will definitely be going back out with Day Shape Charters when we return to Sanibel Island.
