Kim is the best trainer! We have taken our high spirited golden/Irish setter mix to her for puppy class, boarding and training and grooming. She has taught US so much and is committed to helping us train a good, calm, wonderful four legged friend. I highly recommend this investment in your pets well being and in your lived experience. It is well worth the time, effort and cost.

Day Hill Dog training is AMAZING!! Kim has done so well with our puppy and helping with his manners. And our Donut LOVES it there and gets so excited every time he goes for day care! Kim is so communicative with everything and you can tell that she has so much care for every owner and pup that comes her way ❤️

Kim is an incredible dog trainer who has worked wonders with my puppy, Juniper. From the very first session, Kim demonstrated professionalism, patience, and deep expertise in dog behavior. Juniper has made amazing progress in obedience, socialization, and confidence thanks to Kim’s thoughtful training methods. The facility is clean, spacious, and perfectly designed for both group and individual training, creating a comfortable and safe environment for pets. Kim’s calm demeanor and clear communication made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend Kim to anyone looking for top-quality training and a truly caring professional.

From the moment I arrived I felt confident leaving my dog in Kim’s care. The kennels and play areas are clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. There's ample space for dogs to move, indoor/outdoor access (or young dogs had safe secure areas) and the staff clearly monitor the dogs throughout the day. My dog came home happy and calm, which in my experience means she had good supervision + enough mental & physical activity — not just "sit in a crate all day". What impressed me most was how the training was incorporated alongside the boarding. The Kim took time to assess my dog's individual needs (energy level, behaviour issues, learning style). We discussed goals ahead of time (e.g., better recall, less jumning, calm behaviour around o * dogs/humans).

Our young English Shepherd began starting fights with our Blue Heeler when friends were at our house. In the beginning I could stop the fight. As time went on the fights became worse with more triggers. This resulted in my husband being injured. After which we kept the dogs apart. We knew we needed help. I had done puppy class with Kim at Day Hill dog training and saw she is a Certified Behavioral Trainer. She told me she had just come back from a Master Class on Dog Aggression! Kim did an assessment of the dogs and made a plan. We went from private lessons to a group class with earning a Canine Good Citizen title. Our dogs are happy and back together. We continue to use the skills we learned and plan on taking the next level training class. Talk with Kim she can help you too.

i took my puppy to puppy classes and basic obidience with Kim. She is the best! I had significant health issues later and brought my dog to Kim for board and train while I underwent surgery. I totally trust Kim with my small dog. Kim sent me pix of Piper and kept in touch. A HUGE thanks to her and her incredible ability to train dogs and their humans.

We love Dayhill Dog Training. Our GS/Husky responds well to her training there, very great handling and fantastic communication. The facilities for boarding are also great with lots of room and areas to play and run. We love Kim! She is fantastic with our family dog and we are seeing progress.

Kim takes awesome care of our Dobermans. We often have to go out of town and the dogs are always well taken care of. Kim treats the dogs as if they were her own.

I could not recommend a better place to take your 4 legged companion for basic obedience and much more. We had brought our German shepherd husky mix in to see Kim at Day Hill. Our boy suffers from extreme anxiety and had terrible obedience. After 3 weeks with Kim he is a complete different dog! He is muzzle trained, well mannered and a much calmer guy.

My dog Piper would not walk at class, but sit at my feet. I had to bait her with cheese and coach her through every step. Working with Kim has changed her 200%. Piper now walks well on leash. Is more playful with other dogs and participates in activities. Kim is amazing working with my Piper. I have seen Kim working with people in the class giving pointers that help the handlers with their dogs. I highly recommend Day Hill Dog Training.
