This is the current radar of our area at 8:38AM. Right now, we have several storms making their way South, with storms affecting the Athens area, the Southern Metro Area, Banks county, and the Calhoun area. There is frequent lightning with these storms, but none have a severe warning with them.
After these storms move out of the area later this morning, we will see a break in any storms before this Afternoon and Evening. We are still in a slight risk for severe weather for this Afternoon and Evening but the risk could be lower if we don't see any sun earlier this Afternoon.
