David is exceptionally talented and exceptionally kind. I have been going to him for almost 10 years for my own women’s cut. He has always helped me find a style that compliments me. I’m aware of changes in my body shape and David has always made me feel heard and sent me out with a cut that leaves me feeling amazing. His cuts also LAST-these aren’t the styles that look good for a week. I have 2b-2c wavy/curly hair. I prefer not to need to style my hair often and my hair continues to look great without extra styling far beyond others - months. Over the years I’ve grown interested in coloring my hair, and David has helped me explore the colors, contrast, and quantity that I love. I specifically request he doesn’t always cover up all my grays (bc I’ve worked hard to get far enough in life to get grays!) and he does great every time. I can bring reference pictures or say something general like “kind of more fall ish” and he blends a really nice, natural, rich color combo. Pricing is open and transparent on his online booking site, which is also very easy to use to schedule on your own time. He has become our family go-to as well, cutting a man, boy and girl in addition he does great with kid-length men’s and boys hair, and sees each person or kid for who they are. Finding someone you trust with your hair is scary, but I can’t recommend David enough. 10/10.

I had a great visit at David Alyns Salon! He presents his room as very professional and comfortable. I felt at home and left feeling my best. David takes his job very serious and has many years of experience, he is a true artist. I have followed him from another salon and glad he is able to expand his true talent!
