Davenport Custom Coating

10/10 would not recommend. I have owned the oven for just over 1 year. Upon installed we notice 1 half of the 2 part 20’ oven was about an inch taller. Collin assured us he builds these on a perfectly flat surface so our concrete must be that far off. It is falling apart, rivets are popping the corrected grates over the burns are falling off the wall. You can walk around 50% of it and see that it’s virtually leaking from every crack and crevice. Easy setup. Turned into multiple HVAC visits, as well as Colin himself coming 4 hours one way to push a few buttons and then proceed to leave after 30 mins. NOT fixing the problem but in fact making it worse. The oven will be set at 400 and will spike after about 15 mins sometimes hitting 460 and even 500. When confronting Collin about it all he says is the oven needs to learn itself. 😆 Yeah we found this out the hard way. Had to have huge parts burned off and redone. Was told he would try and find a mechanical contractor in my area to again come and do who knows what to try annd fix said issues. Since then he won’t return my phone calls. SAVE YOURSELF the absolute headache and spent the extra 20k and buy a reputable oven. These dont even have burner boxes and are supplied with fans that a computer would have. In which two of mine stopped working writhing the first two months and I had to take it upon myself to figure it out.. And to sum it up I’ve had two data analysis done on this oven to validate my concerns and problems which it failed miserably both times. 90 degree difference in temp from 6’

I bought an 8x8x16 welded oven. After pricing what it would cost to build my own, the savings weren’t enough to justify not having an oven that has been engineered. So I bought Davenport’s oven. Very happy with it and really appreciate their commitment to stay with us until everything was up and running. This was my first gas oven so wasn’t dialed in. I called them a bunch and they answered every time and made sure we stayed on the right path. Anyway very happy with this company

Good product at a fair price! Had some issues but Colin was super helpful in diagnosing and fixing the problems! Would highly recommend!

Ordered a 24x8x8. We are in Oregon and have very strict compliance office. Colin worked with them and emailed all docs and engineered docs to the commercial inspector. Arrived damaged (freight company issue) he helped sort thought insurance with me. Had issues with high and low gas pressure switches sorted wires via FaceTime for hours with me. (Electricians issue) knicked a wire and was tripping the breaker instantly. Colin knows his ovens inside and out. CARLIN BURNER was damaged from factory. OVERNIGHTED a burner showed up next day and no questions. Absolutely 10/10 experience. Ovens are not fancy. Clean cut and concise look good and work just like they should. You’d think he would be tired of issues and me calling. Nope answered every single time. Will need another in the future and this will be the spot. Thanks ROGUE VALLEY COATINGS.

I own Downrange Customz and Coatings in TN. I ordered a pair of custom strip tanks from Colin and after a couple of weeks for fabrication and painting the we delivered, very well secured on the pallet. Recently, I had an issue with my oven that was really no BIG deal but…Colin, the owner of the company, actually reached out via FaceTime and completely walked me through a step-by-step troubleshoot. We had it figured out in minutes!! Only needed a thermostat control…easy $60 fix. Colin asked for my email and said he would send an invoice AND SHIP the part immediately! He responds “It’s on the way, ships NEXT DAY to you and NO charge.” Talk about service! I’ve had my oven for over two years. The quality of my oven is top-notch. We purchased our davenport oven roughly 2 years ago, has worked like a charm. Built well, sturdy, heats up fast, Customer service is outstanding and super helpful. Today I noticed smoke and shut off my electrical, my plug had started to spark. I posted online to some fellow powder coaters asking for advice on what could have caused this. Within minutes I received a message followed by a phone call from Colin asking questions and offering knowledge on how this could have happened. Not to mention my hinges need replacing and they are fast with sending replacement parts!
