I have been a loyal long time customer and despite moving to North Portland, I happily drive the 30 minutes knowing the service and care that will be provided for my car. I have been coming to them since 2020 and they have always provided the best care. As someone who isn’t car savvy, I really appreciate them openly explaining what’s going on with my car and it’s always a good sign when you see the same experienced faces year after year. It’s a family run company that has grown to feel like part of my own. I put full trust in them which is not always easy to find in this line of work. So, if you are looking for a reliable, friendly, and ethical auto care company to become your new regular, I full heartedly recommend Danny’s. They are worth the extra drive even if you’re not in the Milwaukie/ SE Area. You guys are the BEST, thank you for everything over the years. This place is the best. My F-150 had been down for months with a timing chain and cam phaser failure ($$$). I searched literally EVERYWHERE for a shop to take on this repair. Not only were they able to take the vehicle and bring it back to life; they were also very helpful with cultivating a plan to help reduce the overall cost of this repair. She drives like a dream again!!!! I’m forever indebted to these guys and I recommend anyone looking for honest, hardworking, and dependable service to give Danny’s Automotive a call.

I needed new rear brakes. I called and got quoted a very fair price. I brought it in two days later and waited while the repair was done. The job was completed in time they quoted me which was quick. When programming the car, they said the battery was toast. I realized I’ve had it five years and never replaced the battery. 15 minutes later, I had a new battery. While I was there, I had a great conversation with the Original owner And his son, They are very knowledgeable and do repairs the right way. I’ll bring my future work there and would recommend anyone looking for a reliable honest shop to bring your work there also.

I found this shop when my son needed a new intake manifold and I’m so glad I did. They are now the only mechanic I will go to. Fred, Jimmy and Caleb are amazing along with all the other guys there. You will not find a better price around and the work is amazing. I even call them when something comes up that I need a referral to somebody else for, such as key replacement or new headliner for the car. They have a contract for everything. Highly highly recommended.

Staff was pleasant and informative. Service was speedy and guaranteed, two very important and much appreciated qualities in any automotive repair shop! I especially appreciated that after a long day at work Mr. Ed one of the mechanics, took the time to explain to me the process of services ge preformed on my car when I asked him. I was looking for a new mechanic and my boss recommended Danny’s Auto and I am very very happy! I needed a clutch, an inspection and I thought I needed a catalytic converter, but they looked and it only needed a gasket and not the converter. They saved me a lot of money, they are very honest and very caring. I tell everyone I know to go to Danny’s Auto for any car work they need!

Caleb went above and beyond for me and is very good at what he does. Very fair prices and thorough work. I will be coming back.
