Fast response was at my house the next day, but he charged me $199 for the part which I found the same part on Amazon for $20 Plus $179 Labor charge for 15 minutes of work.Plus $30 from my 79.98 retainer charge. So that was 199+179+30-50+ he gave me a $18.90 veterans discount which my total bill came to $335.56 for 15 minutes of work. Was shocked over the final charge legal robbery!!!

Eddie is the best!! Completely open and honest whether or not the appliance should be replaced or repaired. My family owns a number of properties and we’ve been using him for years. He’s always been quick to make the repair. Trusted!

His business card provides the name ‘Fast Eddie’, but he is more than ‘fast’. I think that he is the best Bosch appliance repairman that I have ever dealt with. I called, out of the blue, and described my problem with our Bosch SHE55 dish washer. The door handle had broken and I thought that I could buy a new plastic control panel cover and install a new door latch, thinking that it had hung up and caused us to exert more pulling than the plastic panel would take. I had bought the parts at Ross Appliance and had done my best to get them installed correctly. But, to no avail, there were several problems with my installation, including my lack of understanding of the impact of the ‘child lock’ on the washer’s wash cycle. Finally, in frustration I called Daily Home Solutions and got Fast Eddie, I explained my problem, he quoted me a fixed price and told me he could be at my home in an hour. He showed up, as promised, and proceeded to work systematically through the series of, unknown to me, problems that were embedded in my attempt at the repair, eliminating each one as it appeared in his diagnostic repair sequence. This man knows Bosch dish washers very well, has a systematic approach to finding and solving their operational problems, has the patience and concentration to stick with the problem search until all have been revealed and attended to. While Eddie was polite and prompt with his successful work/repair on our clothes dryer, the overall costs and lack of communication during the process left something to be desired. If you hire this company, they want you to make an $80 deposit online for scheduling (never had to do this with any other appliance company). Then, for our 15 year old dryer, the less than 1 hour job cost $199 for the maintenance and $199 for the labor. This seemed a bit much to me but since he was already at our house, if I said no, I knew I would lose the $80 deposit with no recourse (so hands tied). Also, if you want to use a credit card to pay, you will be charged an extra fee for that unless you pay with cash or check (this was stated after the work was done). Considering our total bill was $435.87, not everyone has that on hand or in an account easily and usually people already pay significant credit card interest rates. Lastly, a 7% Sales Tax was applied to the bill since they are in Allegheny County and our repair was in Westmoreland County (an oversight by me) but none-the-less just more costs on top of a high bill already. Make sure you ask plenty of questions before hiring Daily Home Solutions and consider calling other companies/individuals to compare prices for repair of your appliances (especially outside of Allegheny County) as I am certain you could save yourself a considerable amount of money! Update: The Business Owner called me at 7:30pm shortly after I posted my review and spent the next 5 minutes berating and badgering me until I realized the call wasn't going anywhere and decided to go back to helping my wife put our kids to bed. This is the most unprofessional thing I have ever dealt with! Would not recommend to anyone for future business!
