Description
A heat event is expected during the next few days. What: Heat. Daytime highs 31 to 32 with overnight lows near 20. Where: Brampton, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, and inland areas of Mississauga and Toronto. Relief from the heat may be found near Lake Ontario. When: Saturday through Sunday. The heat may last into early next week too. Hot and humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality and can result in the Air Quality Health Index to approach the high risk category. ### The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
