Ms Liz is an exceptional driving instructor and a genuine asset to this business. I previously drove for many years in Australia, but moving to the U.S. and adjusting to driving on the opposite side of the road completely destroyed my confidence. From the very first lesson, Liz approached this challenge with calm professionalism, patience, and a level of emotional intelligence that is rare. She never raises her voice, never creates pressure, and has an incredible ability to keep situations feeling safe and manageable — even when they’re unfamiliar or stressful. Her teaching style is clear, adaptive, and confidence-building, which made a huge difference for me as a student. Beyond technical instruction, Liz brings consistency, empathy, and a steady presence that allows students to actually learn rather than panic. That kind of instructor directly reflects the quality and reputation of a company. Because of Liz, I now feel capable, confident, and prepared to drive independently again. Employees like Liz are the reason people recommend this service. She deserves recognition for the value she brings every single lesson. Also, is there a way to leave a tip for instructors? (Tipping culture is always so difficult Liz also helped explain this hahahaha) I would love to do this if appropriate

The classes are super fun, simple, and straightforward. Ms. Liz made me feel very confident when I was driving and all the other instructors are very sweet and kind. This was a breeze.

I have had a really bad experience here. They have cancelled 3 of 5 my appointments including my road test last minute with zero accountability while I was charged a fine for calling and rescheduling one of my appointment. I have had to clear schedules for multiple days because of this. Instructor had been using mobile during my driving lessons. Wouldn't recommend this place specially for adults.

We had a very disappointing experience with this driving school due to poor communication and lack of guidance. My daughter completed her driving course here but did not take her driving test before turning 18. We were told that once she turned 18, she would need to renew her permit, which we did, and DPS issued a new permit valid for another year. After completing everything we were told was required, we were referred to a partner driving school to take her driving test. Only then were we informed that because my daughter is now 18, she was required to complete an additional 6-hour adult driving course and the Adult Impact course. This critical information was never disclosed to us by this school. As a result, we drove a significant distance to the partner school only to be turned away and told she was not eligible to test. Had we been properly informed of these requirements, this situation could have been completely avoided. The lack of accurate and timely information was extremely inconvenient and unprofessional. Although the partner driving school was accommodating, my daughter is now required to complete additional coursework, effectively repeating hours she had already completed prior to turning 18. This experience has been both frustrating and disappointing, and reflects a serious failure in communication.

I highly recommend CY-Fair Driving School TXFINITY Katy to anyone learning to drive or trying to overcome a fear of it. Ms. Lizzie made everything smooth, from providing information to scheduling lessons and the road test. Ms. Ban was an amazing instructor—professional, patient, and very supportive. She explained everything clearly and helped me feel confident and safe behind the wheel. Thanks to her, I went from nervous to confident. Great experience overall, and I'm truly grateful for the support I received!

I had a 4-hour driving lesson here and it was fantastic! My instructor Ms. Ban and Ms.Lizzie were great at explaining everything clearly and created a very positive learning environment. I made a lot of progress and highly recommend!

Amazing school! Ms Ban and Lizzie were my teachers for my entire time there. I remember the first class I went I sat with Ms. Ban and I couldn’t even stay in my lane properly, now I just finished my last class with her and I can definitely say that I’m much more confident in my driving thanks to my teachers. Ms. Lizzie also helped me out with getting onto the highway, which I was afraid of at first. After sitting with Ms. Lizzie and going on the highway I got much more comfortable. I would definitely recommend coming here, they provide both driving and observation hours too so it’s definitely helpful/ useful.

Ms Ban is nice, she did her job and she motivated me when I needed it and I got my license which is great. I waiting until I got my license to do this review. They basically only teach you how to pass the test and not other important driving skills, like highway driving or reverse parking. Also I had a harsh experience with Ms Patrick where she barked orders at me when I didn’t know exactly what to do when parallel parking for the first time, she basically had zero patience, it seem like she didn’t like that I was confused and still learning. I asked for Ms. Ban only after that. Also the cars are pretty old and don’t drive very good. One time I had to drive with a check engine light on.

Liz was such a great person to drive with. She was super patient, really chill, and made the whole experience way less stressful. She’s also funny and gave really good driving advice that actually helped.

Mrs. Ban was excellent at teaching me how to drive, making every lesson both productive and stress-free. she explained each step with clarity breaking down even the hardest skills into simple, manageable parts. Their steady patience and encouragement helped me stay calm and focused, and before long I felt comfortable handling everything from tight turns to highway driving.
