The best. Always friendly and good vibes (and music) and the best hair cuts I’ve ever had.

It was my first visit at cut and run hair and I am more than happy with the result! I came with some ideas and inspirations and it turned out even better than I’ve imagined. I can highly recommend the salon, it’s one of a kind and the people working there are so kind. Thank you:)

I can count on one hand how many times I’ve enjoyed myself at the hairdressers, let alone felt at ease with scissors that close to my head. And so much at ease I was on my first time there (literally on Tuesday 6th Dec 2022) that I asked Davey “should we try something different?” And he delivered! Do you know what it’s like to get compliments on a new do? I really do think the environment can add to the experience, and you can just tell that at Cut & Run, though it may’ve had the same stickers/posters of pop culture cornerstones that other hairdressers have, that this place has put care into it, rather than clique-y pretension of other barbers. Think Blade Runner, Bill Murray, Weird Al, and even a signed Bowie poster (sadly, not an authentic Bowie signature). And ya know how sometimes chat with your barber is like first date vibes? Like broad generic conversation while you think “cut it faster, pls!?” This was far off that. We just talked shop on music and travel, and before I knew it, I was outta there — BISH BASH BOSH! Very impressed. I will definitely come back, and will also recommend to my friends. If I moved out of Stoke Newington, there’s a big big chance I’d travel for a Cut & Run chop.

Quite a late review - I got my hair cut and dyed last month. After 6+ weeks it's still looking FAB. Such genuinely nice people too and extremely reasonable prices. Will definitely be returning - super impressed!

Today was my first time going to Cut & Run Hair and it was amazing. Runi did an incredible job and made the whole experience so lovely. I honestly love how my hair came out and will definitely go back. 10/10!!!

One of the things I've love most about Dave & Tera's place is it's a lovely space to chill, relax and have a friendly chat whilst getting a hair cut.. so far removed from the pretentious atmosphere you find in other salons or the rush of the barbers. Oh and every time I've gone in there I've got a banging hair cut! And so has everyone I've recommended it to. Definitely worth a visit.

Had such a great haircut with Tera today! She knew exactly how to work with my curly hair (which is often difficult to colour) and I love the finished look. I even received a random complement from a stranger on my walk home! Would definitely recommend this place and return :)

Been exclusively coming here since 2020. In fact, I've moved abroad but still make it a point to come back here once every 3 or 4 months as I do not trust anywhere else with my hair! Highly recommend - everyone is really lovely too :)

Second (Oct 2022): I've had an Aura treatment to smooth out my hair at cut and run twice now and wanted to report back. The treatment is amazing. It hydrates my hair without completely straightening it or loosing volume and gives me a consistent shine and wavy look. I haven't had to blow dry or use products in my hair in months. I could not recommend this treatment or salon enough. I also get great hair cuts here and always look forward to hanging out with Davey, Tera and the crew. First Review (Feb 2022): Could not be happier with my Aura treatment, done by Davey. Honestly have nothing but great things to say about the salon also. The aura treatment smoothed out my hair without killing all of my curls and volume (like keratin treatments have in the past). It’s exactly what I wanted. The treatment takes a little over 2 hours but I could hang out in this salon all day. Good beer even better conversation. Looking forward to my next treatment in a few months!
