We recently purchased our hot tub from Epic Hot Tubs. Johnna was our sales person that we worked with. She was very helpful in providing her honest opinion when we were going through our decision making process. We attended her Hot Tub Maintenance class and found this to be very helpful information for first timers. In addition, Johnna was more than willing to consult with, and walk us through the process of prepping the hot tub as we turned it on for the first time. If you're in the market for a hot tub, we highly recommend you check out Epic Hot Tubs and ask for Johnna!!

Art Register did a great job assisting us on choosing the best hot tube and price negotiations. I spent some time checking hot tub models and price around RDU area and Epic had the best cost x quality offer. Delivery team was great too

We recently visited Epic Spas to research what we wanted in a hot tub (looking to buy our first one!) We found several that we liked. Johnna treated us like family from the start. Ultimately we didn’t buy our hot tub from Epic (but we really wanted to because of Johnna!) We got very lucky and found a hot tub someone needed to get rid of quickly because they were moving. I drove all the way to Raleigh to talk to Johnna about the chemicals and what I might need. She didn’t close the doors on me because I bought my hot tub somewhere else. She was excited for me and helped me every step of the way. Because of Johnna I will continue to drive 45 minutes to Epic Spas to get everything I need for my hot tub.

We purchased a 5-seat Wellis hot tub from Epic last week and so far are very happy with it. While we did consider Costco and some other options, we are grateful we chose Epic because of the proactive and diligent customer service. Florencio (I think that was his name) and the delivery crew were prompt and careful. The customer service rep Johnna has walked me through all of the setup instructions step-by-step by phone and text. She even spoke to me on Christmas Eve so that we could use the tub through the holiday. She is warm and knowledgeable and clearly a major asset for the company.

My wife and I purchased a home that came with a hot tub but we needed to do some maintenance on it in order to get it up and running. Never owning a hot tub before we both did not know where to start. We searched online for hot tub companies in the Raleigh area and Epic Hot Tub had good reviews. We decided to make the trip there to see if we could get some guidance and we are so glad we did. As soon as we walked in the door, Johnna greeted us with open arms like we were her family coming into her house for Thanksgiving dinner. She was so friendly and inviting from the start. We told our story and instead of just trying to sell us a bunch of products we didn’t need, she proceeded to show us the exact hot tub we own and taught us everything we needed to know about it. She guided us on the first couple steps to take and we went home and began doing what she told us. We returned the next day to purchase the remaining products we needed and again she assisted us on how to proceed. Our hot tub is up and running and we owe it all to Johnna and her knowledge and care for her customers. She made us a customer for life and we will definitely be back for any of our hot tub needs!

I had an outstanding experience with Epic Hot Tubs, especially thanks to Blake, the technician who came out to service my hot tub. He was professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to get everything working perfectly again. Blake took the time to explain what he was doing and made sure I was completely satisfied before he left. Because of his exceptional service, I will absolutely continue doing business with Epic Hot Tubs. Every interaction I’ve had with their team has been excellent—from scheduling to service—and I’ve been very impressed overall. I highly recommend Epic Hot Tubs to anyone looking for quality hot tubs and top-notch customer service.

We had an amazing experience with Epic Hot Tubs, specifically with Johnna. She walked us through every step of the process and is still super quick with responding to all of our hot tub needs. We were anxious about owning a hot tub for the first time, but Johnna has patiently walked us through every step. We can't recommend this company enough and know that we got the best deal in town! We will recommend to all of our friends and family.

Poor Customer Service and Communication - Would Not Recommend I purchased a hot tub from Epic Hot Tubs in October 2025 for over $10K, and the experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. Delivery Issues: After ordering, I was told someone would contact me to schedule delivery. After three weeks of hearing nothing, I had to reach out myself. Pamela finally texted me on 11/18 saying the hot tub had arrived "a couple of days ago" - meaning it had been sitting there without anyone bothering to notify me. When I tried to schedule delivery, Pamela was extremely difficult to work with. My deck was nearly complete (finishing in 2 days) with enough done to accommodate the hot tub, but she refused to schedule delivery until it was 100% complete. Two days later, I sent photos of the finished deck, only to be told there was ONE available delivery day left for the entire year. Unfortunately, I had an out-of-town trip planned for that day. While they offered to deliver without me home, given my experience so far, I wasn't comfortable with that option. I ended up canceling my trip to accommodate their extremely limited schedule. Delivery Day Problems: The delivery team arrived over an hour early without any advance notice, despite being promised a heads-up text. Once there, they refused to install the cover lift I'd purchased, claiming it wouldn't fit. This was frustrating since only one side of the hot tub was near the house, leaving three sides open. What makes this worse is that we had previously reached out to our sales contact requesting specifications for the cover lift so our contractor could plan accordingly - but Epic never responded. This $300 problem could have been completely avoided with basic communication. Bottom Line: The customer service throughout this process was poor, communication was inadequate, and the overall attitude was dismissive and rude. For a purchase exceeding $10,000, I expected far better treatment and professionalism. I cannot recommend Epic Hot Tubs and suggest looking elsewhere for your hot tub or swim spa purchase.

Johnny of Epic Hot Tubs (service technician) is an excellent source for servicing our new hot tub and thoroughly inspected our unit after a minor problem with our diverted valve. He explained operational procedures while checking for non-existent leaks and confirmed our choice in choosing a Wellis hot tub. We feel comfortable knowing we have such a great support staff to support our future hot tub needs.

The free Epic Hot tub seminar this Saturday was excellent. I thoroughly recommend it for thoroughly recommend it for those who have hot tube and those considering it. Johnna did a great job. afterwards Johnna and John wehere there to help individual people. Really great. Thanks again Vincent
