AMAZING EXPERIENCE with the entire Cudmores team! We hired Cudmores for landscaping and design services for our front and back yard, and the experience more than exceeded our expectations. It's so hard to find companies today that not only care about the work they do, but also commit to doing quality work. From my first meeting with Will, I knew Cudmores was different. Through every stage, from design to installation, the whole team was incredible. If something wasn't right, they would work until it was. Erica's design was also more than perfect! She spent time getting to know our property and our needs, and her experience, skills and knowledge made the final result outstanding! Cudmores completely surpassed our expectations! I would recommend Will and his team without hesitation.

It's hard to know where to begin...Cudmore's Landscape & Design is simply one of a kind! When we decided to embark on our backyard re-design project, it was incredibly daunting. When we came across Cudmore's in our search - we knew from the first email response that they were different! During our initial consultation, we walked through our vision, goals and budget - and Will promptly followed up with a detailed step-by-step plan of what to expect, timelines and a commitment to ensuring we were always on the same page! The design process with Erica was collaborative and she captured our vision perfectly. At each step of the process, the entire team was always in lock-step with one another - responsive, approachable and respectful. Working with Will and the team from Cudmore's feels like working with people you've known forever - with a wonderful comfort and ease in all aspects. The dedicated crew that did the work was amazing! Respectful, diligent and incredible attention to detail. Our kids were so sad to see them leave when the project was finished! The work was completed on time (early actually!), on budget and we could not be happier with the end result! Will and Mark's follow-up also deserves a mention - they truly went above and beyond in so many areas. Will even came over one evening (after sunset) to ensure the landscape lighting was perfect! We look forward to having the team back to do some spring maintenance, and hopefully the front yard soon. We cannot recommend Cudmore's more highly!

We chose Cudmore's for our backyard renovation and I would not hesitate to recommend them. From the first meeting with Will, we knew Cudmore's was the right choice to bring our design to life. Will is personable, listens and is passionate about landscape & design, which means he is as invested as you are in a beautiful result. The team of Connor, Shannon, Bradley (with Mark & Erica) were awesome to work with. They were respectful of our space, and the job site was tidy at the end of each day. We cannot wait to enjoy many evenings and weekends entertaining our friends and family in our beautiful new backyard.

We are really pleased with the work from Cudmore's Landscape & Design. Our front porch, steps and walkway are stunning. Cudmore's was very responsive from day one, and worked with us to come up with a design that suited our house and was within our budget. The little garden they put in is the icing on the cake. Crew members were pleasant and professional, always taking great care to clean the surrounding area before they left each day. We highly recommend Cudmore's.

We had an amazing experience with Cudmore’s and used them to upgrade our front garden, walkway and steps as well as completely redo our backyard. Their skilled crew was friendly, hardworking and professional. We are particularly pleased with the stonework on the walkway at the front and patio at the back. The plants were thoughtfully picked out with “low maintenance” in mind (our request). Will and his team worked closely with us to help us create a beautiful and functional outdoor space to meet the needs of our family.

We had the pleasure of working with the Cudmore's team over the last 8 months for our full house exterior renovation project. We started our process by interviewing about 12 different contractors and after meeting Will and Erica we were immediately impressed with the personality connection and how they understood our perspectives. As an engineer, it may be helpful for me to lay out each step of the process and how Cudmores helped us at each step. Design Process - I greatly enjoyed our design process with Erica and Will specifically because they listened to us and were able to pull out our vision of a modern hygge. We were inspired based on our travels to Scandinavia and the Arctic and Will and team went from our description of emotions and desires, to a very thoughtful, functional but beautiful design that we loved. We started with a smaller scope in our project, but as we started going through the process Will and Erica thoughtfully helped incorporate additional elements as we started thinking through the space. Iterative processes like this could be messy, but Will and Erica were able to take our scope creep and beautifully tie it all together. I greatly appreciate the iterations as well as constant communication. Permits - We did significant changes to our grade along with having major water historical water issues. The Cudmore's team did a great job in navigating the complex permit process from the Town of Oakville along with the storm water management plan. The city also threw us a few curve balls due to our exterior waterproofing team moving soil before the permit, but Will and team calmy navigated all aspects and got us to the finish line. Execution and Best of Breed Trades - Will's team are experts in the landscaping, hardscape, and softscape. We were incredibly impressed with the layers of work to get the job done right including ensuring that all of the elements tied together perfectly. When the hardscape and water management were done, the softscape went very quickly and it was almost magical to see the yard transform into a lush garden. Cudmore's approach is also to use a best of breed approach and we appreciated them organizing the subtrades (e.g. Burlington Paving, King Fence, Premium Irrigigation, etc) to ensure that we had quality work at a reasonable price. Will, Erica and Jen were exceptional in quarterbacking all of the different teams so they came together seamlessly. Cudmores also recommended us to Hauser furniture who did a great job helping us select the right pieces. Dealing with Issues - Issues in a build will always come up, but the most important thing is how the team deals with the issues. We have a house that had many owners and some of the prior work was not done to code. One example was our gas line to our pool which was only buried 6-7 inches below grade. As the Cudmores team was excavating they nicked the gas line but then had the line buried to the proper depth and had a licensed gas installed come and fix it. I felt for any issue that we had, Will and team would work with me to find a good solution together. Pricing - the Cudmore's team was not the most expensive, nor the least expensive and would be in and around the median. I think it's important to know that by working with Cudmores team you will always be looking at quality first and a job well done. Outcome - The output was better than we could have imagined and we've already had multiple family events at our new backyard oasis. In addition, our front yard has also been completely transformed, and our neighbors and pedestrians who walk down our street have sent us countless compliments. All in all, a great experience and we would easily recommend them to anyone looking to do a major transformation project.

We had a very complex drainage and grading problem that two previous teams were unable to solve. Cudmores Landscaping not only resolved it, but did so with exceptional professionalism. Their communication stood out — they kept us, our neighbors, and other vendors fully informed throughout the process. Project management was outstanding, and when unexpected challenges came up, they handled them with grace and speed. The final result was excellent, but what impressed us most was the process itself: organized, transparent, and thoughtful from start to finish. You can absolutely trust them with your project and your property.

We had such a great experience with Cudmore’s from the beginning stages with Will Joyce’s first visit to our home to then meeting Landscape Designer Erica Gordon. The communication was excellent over the months in the planning stage. Erica took the time to go over all the details and offered different options in plants for us to choose from. After much anticipation and having to wait a few months for Spring, planting day finally arrived. Erica and her crew arrived bright and early to ensure all the work could get done in a timely manner. The quality of the plants was amazing! We also needed some large rocks and river rock relocated and Erica and her team took the time and care to artfully reincorporate them into my newly designed garden beds. Much thanks goes to Jenn, Shannon and Logan for all their hard work! The whole team went above and beyond to make my front yard look so beautiful! Everyone was very professional and they cleaned everything up well at the end of the day. I will not hesitate to recommend Cudmore’s to all my family, friends and neighbours! Lastly but certainly not least we would like to commend and thank Erica for her beautiful design! She was an exceptional person to work with. We have received so many compliments on our front yard. We had a wonderful experience working with Will, Erica, and the rest of the team at Cudmore's Landscape & Design to design and complete our front landscaping. Everyone on the team was professional, hardworking and kind. Will and Erica were always quick to answer our questions and keep us updated on timeline and cost. A highlight for us was going to the tree nursery to pick out the trees that would complete our front yard project! We are thrilled with the results of our landscaping project and have had many neighbours stop by to tell us how good our front yard and patio looks! I would highly recommend Cudmore's to anyone looking to have landscaping work done.

We have used Cudmore's for years at our previous property. Now that we've moved we had them back to work on our side yard and we could't be happier with the results. Their design, timeliness, quality of work and materials never disappoints.
