Wonderful little spot! We stopped in for lunch and had a great experience. The service was great; friendly and helpful. The food was really good. The plantain tostones with shredded crispy flank steak was a good start, then came the pimento stuffed with cod that was light and fragrant. Then the two stars of the show came! The octopus was wonderful, done to perfection. And the current special, oxtail was a great suggestion by our waitress! Both of these dishes were great. Although people recommend their mojitos, take a hint from their name and the writing on the wall: Tapas y VINOS

We just moved to the area and decided on brunch at Cubata, and let me start by saying what a great choice! The service was fantastic. The waitress was knowledge and helped me decide on what to order as a vegetarian. Had plenty of options. My dad ordered fresh fish ceviche. Everything was delicious. The sangria was delicious. We will be coming back when visitor's come to town.

On a trip to Miami we happened upon this charming Tapas y Vinos restaurant in Little Havana. Our light lunch was delicious, deftly served by Guillermo, a Havana native. A wonderful experience. We recommend it!

This place reminds me of the restaurants in Spain! The waiters on the street waving you in, the tapas, and the drink specials. We came here specifically for the happy hour which is every day 4pm-8pm and all alcoholic drinks are 50% off. The happy hour did not disappoint, the drinks were strong and cheap which was refreshing for Miami. We only had one tapa because we already had a dinner reservation but the patata bravado were as good as the ones we had in Spain. The atmosphere is great and I really enjoyed stopping here!

Lovely lovely place at the Little Havana Street. We sat outdoors as the weather was very nice. We had 2 beers and ordered a veg sandwich and a roasted chicken in orange sauce. Exceptional taste and large quantity. Prompt service, our server seemed to be a very happy go lucky kind of guy and volunteered to click some of our pictures. Highly recommended!! We actually initially went to Old Havana Cuban bar & restaurant as it was quite famous - it was quite crowded with 20 -30 min of waiting time. That's when we luckily discovered this gem of a place!!

Great spot in Little Havana. Happy hours 4 pm to 8 pm - half price drinks!! Beers as low as $3 and cocktails $5 which are hard to find anywhere in the Miami area. Well worth the visit - staff was nice too.

Really vibey especially if you sit al fresco street side, totally understand why there's so many good reviews. See a constant stream of walking tours going past. Levi was a great help, recommending the octopus, plantain with shredded meat, and generally being very responsive. Really enjoyed the octopus, ceviche, cubaos and gazpacho.

Cubata is an absolute gem in Little Havana and quickly became one of my favorite spots in Miami. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels vibrant, welcoming, and lively without being overwhelming. The food is outstanding. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and clearly made with care and tradition. The tapas classics are elevated but still deeply comforting, and the portions are generous without feeling heavy. You can taste the pride in the cooking. The cocktails deserve a special mention. They are perfectly balanced, refreshing, and beautifully done. Whether you are ordering a classic mojito, sangria or trying something new, you will not be disappointed. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Jessica made us feel like regulars even on our first visit, which says a lot. Cubata is the kind of place you bring visitors to show off Miami, but also where you keep coming back yourself. Highly recommend. This spot captures the heart and flavor of Miami perfectly.
