CS Roofing

Cannot recommend enough. We had to have a complete re-roof (including a flat roof on our extension). Chris completely undercut everyone quote wise and did exactly as he quoted. Work is top noticed. Replaced the entire aging 1930s tiles, gutters and fascias. Re-did all the flat roof. Great comms though-out with process and any nasty surprises (we found some missing mortar above our bedroom) were all fixed. Top notch! Already recommended to other people!

Would definitely recommend. Replaced the felt on summer house roof and did an excellent job. By far the cheapest quote I received and carried out the job one day after providing a quote. Even replaced the felt on the shed roof free of charge whilst they were on site.

Chris and the lads replaced the old roof on the main part of the house I had just bought. He came round assessed the condition of the old roof and gave me the best quote I had from other companies. He was very professional and straight forward with explaining what work was needed and costs. He was always on time every morning he started work and kept me up to date throughout the whole job. Chris and the lads were always very polite while working on my property and left everything tidy at the end of each day. I was so pleased with the previous work, I gave him a call back 12 months later to do the roof on my new extension which again was all in all a fantastic service. My neighbour had his roof replaced by Chris and I was impressed with the workmanship and the timely arrival of scaffolding, skips and materials etc. I contacted him and he gave me an excellent competitive quote. As expected the communication was good. No nonsense add-ons. Quote was exactly what I paid, and there was no problem me being allowed to use the scaffolding to install the fascias and gutters myself. I would confidently recommend him to anyone.

Chris and his team carried out repair work on the slate roof of my kitchen extension. Chris and the team were very professional throughout and carried out the agreed work to a high standard at a competitive price. I would highly recommend CS Roofing.

CsRoofing removed the slates across the entire roof and felted it before reaffixing the original slates. and ridge. They also repointed the chimney stack. It is a small terraced property. The work started on the date agreed and was completed in 4 days. They did a good job, kept the site clean and tidy and provided a guarantee for the work. The price for the work was in line with the market, I received 2 quotes at the same level. They were recommended to me by an elderley couple who advised they were reliable and personable. I would recommend them as I felt they genuinely want to do a good job and maintain their reputation.

Chris Started with a decent Quote/Estimate with all the promises 1) A day before to start the work he bumped the cost by £2000, I had no choice Since scaffolding was on. 2) While he completed the Job on time, Long Roof Tiling for detached roof looked wavy & not straight. he pointed on Old Timbers which he was responsible to review and replace (Though Timbers on our cost) which was initially agreed & requested manytimes.. While invested ~16k, I would not think for few hundreds to replace timber, SHAME was not done. 3) Many Wrotten Timbers were not replaced, when asked did a quick fix post job was done. 4) The NEW Tiles above the Door (Concrete Tiles) did not match the Tiles on Roof ( Clay tiles). Initially he mentioned its free or included for the Big Roof project, Then charged Extra for Labour. I paid for Premium Tiles for the roof, but in the front of house I have a cheap concrete tiles. 5) NEW Gutters fitted by his team were not aligned , Requested him to Fix it .. i was Charged an EXTRA (labour) for the job his team did not do it right.. I had to pay else scaffolding would have gone & had to leave with uneven Gutters 6) HE HAS NOT GIVEN THE 5YR GUARENTEE YET, & COMPLETION CERTIFICATE..its been 2 months already. now asking additional £175 just for certificate. I WOUDN'T RECOMMEND anyone.. DON’T FALL for his PRICE.. you will endup paying double the cost & not with the QUALITY you expect after investing ~£16k. Besides you get Free .. a headache to follow If you choose to go with CS ROOFING. AGREE FOR PAY ONLY after everything is completed & GUarentee received. I was too nice to pay him weekly & learnt a lesson ==================================== Seeing His Reponse, I would Like to Add the FOLLOWING TOO.. YES, Contract was 8.5K for CONCRETE TILES; 13.5K for CLAY TILES 20K for CLAY TILES + LOFT PIR insulation + LOFT Floor Insulation. ****He has taken ~16k already just for Tiles(HE has NOT done LOFT PIR insulation + LOFT Floor Insulation.) . its easy for me to put his emails on display..if lied more I respect the staff who worked in rain (though wasnt my choice/decission; I was delayed ~4 weeks when it was very warm & sunny.. ***Still no execuse on Quality..) Wrt £175.. I have paid ~16k ; £175 is a question? SHAMEFULL. he cannot even justify for why he is asking £175. (Material Bill? . show the bill in public for the date) only raised it when i asked him Warrenty Certificate... By the way.. PLEASE REVIEW his rating in other sites too...Taking about Business etiquette ..paying every penny he asked.. abusive words not welcomed Chris, I waited 2 months before I shared the review.. I am afraid every word is honest. If its bitter.. its only reflecting the quality of work,attitude and pain i bear following up with you. . (please note. I have a signed contract from you )

Cs roofing did a Excellent job on my porch roof replaced old for new so happy with the work that was done in a day . Would certainly recommend Cs roofing to family and friends.

Chris and his team did a fantastic reroof on my house. Starting in January isn't the greatest time to be on a roof but the lads have really gone above and beyond what I could've asked for in poor weather all at a great price. If I could double the star ratings I certainly would

Brilliant work. I was surprised how quick they finished the job. Had new roof, new gutters, fascia all installed at reasonable price, they are very competitive. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. Top class work.
