This place is terrible. I called to see if they had night vision, he says "yes, come on over" I say I'm 25m out. iN TRAFFIC! I get all the way there and this jerk says he took the battery out because it get corrosion and wants me to pay him $500 for something he won't even let me try. Now to drive 30m back. For nothing. What a crappy way to waste someone's time and gas. Absolutely rediculous. I would give no stars what so ever. Jerk. I hope people be u and waste all you time and gas.

Just picked up my Glock 30 Gen 5 from Crystal Pawn and the experience was smooth from start to finish. When I arrived, the owner was there handling everything himself — super friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and treats customers well. I have my License to Carry, I was charged the standard $40 transfer fee, which I was aware of from the start. The shop was clean, well-organized, and the entire process was fast and efficient. If you're looking for a reliable FFL dealer in the Houston/Barker Cypress area, I highly recommend Crystal Pawn. Great service with a personal touch.

Owner sold me fake gold 14k 32g cuban link I came back after finding out it was fake about 35 days later. He argued with me and didn't want to give a refund, gave me attitude and was rude for about 20 mins. Finally gave me a partial refund but did not give my taxes on refund he even tried negotiating on it i told him i wanted the entire amount i payed including the taxes. He refused this is illegal but am not gonna pay to sue when taxes came out to $132 and he knows this dude brakes the law on refunds. The guy has a machine to test gold and it obviously doesn't work don't buy gold from here you'll just get scammed. I hope he learns to test gold soon if it's true that he's not the one scamming people. He even told me to leave after giving me my incomplete non negotiated refund I wasn't even being rude to him very unprofessional why would u get mad that u had to give a customer there money back when your selling fake merchandise to them. 2 other pawn shops confirmed this item was not real gold it was magnetic, value pawn and ez pawn tested it and it failed the magnet test. Dude low balls people all day and then gives me attitude last time I do business with this guy.

I stopped by around 5 o’clock—granted, it was late in the day. Whenever I visit a pawn shop for the first time, I like to ask if they carry the kind of items I’m interested in. At the time, I was looking for game consoles and video games. When I asked the guy working there, he barely responded—maybe he didn’t hear me, since he seemed more focused on the news playing on the TV. So, I browsed on my own and found some games behind a glass case, but there were no price tags. I asked how much they were, and he said $15, claiming they were all PS5 games. I pointed out that not all of them were PS5—some were PS4 and PS3. He came over, checked, and admitted I was right. I then asked how much the PS4 games were, and he said $5. I asked the same about the PS3 games, and again, he said $5. I asked if he could work with me on the price of the PS3 games, considering he was charging the same as for PS4. He didn’t respond—just gave me a look that basically said “take it or leave it.” After that, I looked around a bit more and then left. I won’t be going back.

This place is a joke lol. I went in with a gold piece today and was not only turned away, but laughed at by the owner. I was very embarrassed 😞. I went to another pawn shop on Fry Rd and they took care of me. I came out with over triple what I thought I would get for the piece in the first place. Fake customer reviews definitely exist, however this is not one of them. Just beware 🤷🏻‍♂️

I needed to sell some things today so I went into Crystal Pawn shop. Best decision I’ve made in a while! The owner was so nice and friendly that he immediately put me at ease. He gave me very fair pricing for my items! I would definitely go back if I need to again! There are also some nice things in his shop to purchase too. Thank you again!

Stepped into this pawn shop just looking. I found several items I liked. The shop owner was friendly accommodating and helpful. He was very willing to make a deal and we came to an agreement for a “package deal” of all the items. I walked away very happy. I also saw him make deals with another customers while in there. Prices were good and lots of inventory. I will be stopping in from time to time to see what’s new. Highly recommend!

OMG I would like a kid in the freaking candy store for real

Selling guitars very used for 80 dollars more than they cost new. I tried to enquire about this but the man working ignored me...he was busy watching you tube. Every guitar or amp related item was priced ridiculously. So I'll go to guitar center and get same guitar brand new for 80 bucks less. Edit to owners response. That's not true. You sound like a robot. I'm not gonna bother taking photos of your equipment, and drive across town and photo the same guitars amps and pedals 90 to 200 dollars cheaper but brand new. Whatever you lost a serious return customer as I deal with this type of equipment. You are charging 599.00 for an amp pedal that retailed for 99.00 on multiple sites. ( repairing..custom modding..etc)
