Cretu Nail Spa & Bar

There are only a handful of russian nail salons in Charlotte, and Cretu is the best! I’ve been to both locations.. but this week, I went to the Pineville location and had an appointment with Oly (Olga). She was so kind, went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The quality of her work was incredible! And a bonus was that we had such a wonderful conversation. I’ll be back to see her for sure!!

I was cut in two different places, and an area was left rough that was not there previously. When I brought this to their attention, I was told it was because I was stiff, however this was never communicated to me during the service. In fact, my technician did not communicate with me at all. When I addressed the situation afterward, I felt largely dismissed, and there was no plan of action offered to make this right. For a 100 dollar pedicure and an hour round trip drive, passing many other salons along the way, this experience was disappointing. For $100 pedicure, my expectations are definitely higher. And I should not have been cut multiple times. Russian pedicures are known for being detailed and meticulous, and that standard was not met. We have given this salon multiple opportunities and have referred several people here, but unfortunately we will not be returning.

I've been consistently going to the Charlotte location every 3-4 weeks for about 4 months now and I absolutely love Cretu. When I first came, my nails were messed up from a different salon and Diana at Cretu was able to repair my nails and get them back to healthy growth. I regularly get my nails done by Katiuska. She pays great attention to detail and always does an amazing job. My nails have never chipped after having them done at Cretu. When I come back to get them redone after 4 weeks they are in perfect shape (just grown out). They offer lots of color and design options. Cost varies depending on staff member but my manicure is usually $75 + tip. Scheduling is easy online or over the phone. The salon itself is very clean, well kept, and nicely decorated. The service itself takes about 1.5hrs. They bring me water/refreshments (including complimentary lattes) as needed and provide phone stands so I can watch or listen to something while having my nails done. It truly feels like a luxury experience. I love cretu, I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!

Cretu Nails is hands-down the only nail salon I will ever visit in Charlotte. Luiza, my amazing manicurist, always provides top-notch service and goes above and beyond to make me feel cared for. When I fractured three fingers earlier this summer, she was so gentle and attentive during my manicures. Even now, she still remembers and asks how I’m doing to make sure I’m comfortable. That kind of thoughtfulness means so much. I can’t recommend Cretu Nails enough! 💕

My experience today, 2-8-26, was truly pleasant and feels very welcoming. The service was excellent, and my technician, Oly, was incredibly patient and attentive, understanding exactly what I needed. First time coming here and they blew my expectations out of the park!! Yana took a real grown out horrible manicure and created an absolutely masterpiece. I can’t even believe they are my nails because they look exactly like my inspiration picture. 10/10 I cannot wait to come back!

I would not recommend this place. I spend 190$ for very hideous nails and hardly any help from the manager she basically told me I should of said something during my appointment. After being there for 3 hours, Which it only said my appointment would be 2 hours online I was already late picking up my kids. I was frustrated, and just wanted to run out of that nail salon. Thats no way to talk to a paying customer and my first time going there! The manager finally after hours responded and said " if you want to come back we can take off the nails and give you a refund" Yes! Please because my nails are embarrassing at this point. Even my co workers at work asked if my 10 year old daughter practiced doing my nails. On the right is what was done to my nails for 190$ and on the left is what i showed the nail technician. My nails look absolutely nothing like my inspo picture. This is very disappointing. Wasted 3 hours and wasted 190$ when i could of went to a regular salon and spent 40$ I will not be back after I get these nails taken off. I got my nails done for the first time at your salon. I'm just not very happy with my nails especially after paying 190$ just for my nails and being there from 2pm until 4:45 pm and did not get what I wanted. The picture i showed my nail technician is not what I got on my nails. I got charged for ombre and you can not even see any ombre, it's just white. You can't even see the glitter at all. All of the nails are uneven some longer then others, some sides of the nails are higher then the other sides, and the French tip painting definitely does not look like a French tip. It looks like a child painted my french tip. My nails are embrassing. The smoothnes of my nails are very rigid and bumpy. I didn't think I would be there for 2 hours and 45 minute and spend 190$ for something that doesnt even look close to the picture that I wanted. I even missed my gym workout session being there for all of that time. I didn't realize my nail technician only had 3 years of experience if I knew that I would of went with someone else that had more experience. I went to your salon because the previous salon I went to really messed up my nails, skin, and my hands even broke out with there chemicals they used. Was hoping to spend more money and to have a better outcome but definitely did not have that. I attempted to post my picture of my nails I received from here and my insp picture I asked for side by side but they are not accepting photo reviews onGoogle, unfortunately. I do have a more detailed and photo side by side imagineon there varagro app. I really had high expectations and was really excited having my first Russian gel extension manicure but I will just stick to my 60$ acrylic sets.

Got my first Russian manicure here. The salon is very clean, and very luxe. No strong odors, like other regular salons I've been to. This is the best manicure I've had, the attention to detail is impeccable. Liudmyla did a great job, and I love how every bit of my nails got polished... and even though I kept my nails really short for my job, she still made sure the shape was good and helped me pick the perfect nude color. The girl at the front desk was also very helpful and friendly.

I’ve been going to this salon for a year now. I started at their Pineville location but recently started going to their Charlotte location bc it’s closer to where I live. I left my nail tech of 10+ years because of personal life changes and I needed to find a salon that would maintain the upkeep of my natural nails similar to my old nail tech. Luiza at the Charlotte location is great! She does exactly what you ask for and she is really patient and nice. Although I’ve only experienced Luiza at this location I watched some of the other ladies work and I have no doubt the other ladies provide quality work just like her.

Hands down the BEST nail salon I’ve ever been to! I’ve been coming here for almost a year, and the quality is consistently top-tier every single time. The service is amazing, the attention to detail is incredible, and I always leave absolutely in love with my nails. Highly, highly recommend
