We received excellent preplanning services from Shakeema. Highly, highly recommend her. She walked us through the entire process, she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with what is inherently a difficult life stage to plan. We were very pleased with the options and prices, and were able to set it up for both of us within a few days. Very satisfied.

I can Not say enough about The Cremation Socity of Virginia. Holly was the young lady that worked with us. She was off the chart! She took care of everything for us. Not ever having done this before, she knew right what to do, and didn't miss a beat. Everything was in order, it was very simple like my husband wanted. She even had the military set up and in line. I'm going to get my service in order with Holly as well, so my children won't have to do anything. Holly is incredible. Thank God she was our director. Everything was in order. Convenient location. Every staff member makes sure you are seen and heard. All processes explained for understanding and respect of the family and deceased. Beyond customer service, taking care with people and there emotions. Never felt like a business transaction. Truly taken by the hand and walked thru hard choices. Cremation Society of Virginia was efficient, caring and patient. There were no high pressure, guilt tactics, just simply asking what we envisioned and sharing ways they could help make it happen. We used their services for my father who died in 2017 and were so impressed. We chose to use them when my husband passed in 2025.

Ronnie was amazing to work with. He was so patient answering all of my questions and making the pre-pay process easy and transparent. No pushy sales and followed through with everything as promised. This was our first time experiencing the loss of one of our parents. My husband did not take it well as to be expected but Jerrica at CSOV was here for us every step of the way, from phone calls to emails (probably more than needed) she was patient, respectful, kind & very understanding. We got all our questions answered. As for pricing because it’s the last thing we want to think about the CSOV gave us a very great price in comparison to all other places we called. They made this process as easy as possible for my husband and I. We appreciated everything!

I really can't complain all things considered. I worked mostly with Holly and she was caring, polite and responsive to all my questions and other needs. Their receptionist (I think Marva, and please forgive me if I got that wrong) is also a very sweet and helpful lady. I had a paperwork issue that was not really their fault and they worked with the m.e.'s office to help me get it resolved as quickly as possible. If you're thinking about making these final arrangements ahead of time it will certainly help to make things as smooth as possible for your grieving loved ones. I'd defiantly give them my recommendation and I'd say my mom made an excellent call in trusting them to handle these final arrangements for her.

The consultant that worked out our plans was excellent! He was patient, listened to us, answered all our questions and set up our contracts! We would recommend CSV to anyone interested in pre-setting their cremation plans. My Dad did it and now I have mine ready! Peace to the future!
