From the moment CSV received notification of my mother's passing, there wasn't a moment that wasn't thoughtfully completed. Alvin Hill was very helpful, expressed condolences and even Clarence Preston and his team member were professional, thoughtful, each expressing condolences as well, being very discreet as to ensuring mother was taken to the crematory, and they were very quiet as to not wake neighbors. I highly recommend CSV for pre-needs arrangements and funeral arrangements, as well, to everyone who wants to make it easy for their loved ones to follow through to the final stages of burial. They took care of everything; I felt less stress knowing the ball wouldn't drop on their watch. My heartfelt thank you goes out to Chantilly for their caring, professional and feelings of utmost thoughtfulness of every team member there. Thank you.

The staff members at CSV were all extremely professional and compassionate during my interactions with them. They made the emotional and sensitive experience of planning for my mother’s cremation uncomplicated and never tried to pressure me into undesired services. When she passed the gentlemen that picked her up were very gentle and professional. I would strongly recommend their services.

My husband & I paid for our cremation with Neptune Society many years ago. Now came the time to use their services. We are in a new location, so we weren’t sure how things would be handled. All I can say is, they were utterly fantastic. Sensitive to the needs of my sons & me. Caring that we were pleased with all things done such as how we wanted my husband’s name on the box & what color would I prefer. They sent us the copies of the Death Certificates we need & then, after the funeral, asked if there was anything else they could do for me, including talking with someone to ease my pain. Sensitive, knowledgeable, top notch. I highly recommend Neptune Society to all. You have choices about where you want the ashes distributed & They provide boxes for survivors to either save some ashes or give them to a son or daughter. All boxes are provided well in advance of the passing, so all one has to do is locate the nearest Neptune Society and let them have your name & account #. I wouldn’t do it any other way or with any company other than Neptune Society.

The service, compassion and care given at CSV was outstanding, especially from Chris Gilbert. He went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I were comfortable and my father's remains treated with respect and compassion. He was always available for questions, and worked with me to swap the urn we initially selected for a different one when we weren't satisfied with the quality. Not only was the pricing for the cremation services much more reasonable than other places, but the level of warm care, compassion and empathy shown from the staff at CSV was many levels above the coldness and transactional Power Point presentation that I experienced at another funeral home. CSV even includes paperwork explaining where to send death certificates, and resources for families on how to deal with grief. The viewing room at CSV is warm and cozy, and was the perfect intimate setting to spend some last moments with my father. CSV exemplified putting families first, and I can't speak highly enough about the positive experience we had here. Thank you again especially to Chris for all your work.

The staff at CSV in Chantilly were wonderful and caring when my mother (pictured) died. They were available to answer questions and support me in dealing with all the details. My husband and I have made pre-arrangements with them and are comforted to know that we will be in good hands, and our loved ones will receive the support they need when we are gone.

Truly appreciate the team here for their incredible work. I would contact them late at night & someone would always pick up my call or respond to my emails (even when there’s no rush) within the hour. Many thanks to Chris Gilbert for everything he did to make the process as smooth as possible for my dad during a really difficult time when I barely wanted to do anything. Prices are very reasonable, and I felt 0 pressure to purchase anything that I didn’t want to. Everyone was kind & compassionate. Can’t recommend them enough.

I had a wonderful experience with Cremation Society of Virginia during one of the hardest times of my life. My mother had prepaid for her cremation, even though the company was located in another state everything was handled seamlessly. They arrived promptly at hospice to pick her up and treated her with dignity. Their communication was clear, respectful, and reassuring. I highly recommend them for their professionalism and compassionate care.

As good as possible an experience during our loss. Chris was outstanding: personable, professional, empathetic, and especially attuned to our family's needs. He was very flexible in meeting the constraints we had on properly executing my deceased aunt's wishes. Chris even came to the office on a Saturday to hand over the ashes we needed for a ceremony later that morning. Sincere thanks and appreciation for his attention to detail.

A small logistical detail to keep in mind is that the care facility where your loved one is transported is separate from the main office location. We recommend discussing and clarifying the details of the transport and care location upfront, as this may help ease planning based on your desired arrangements. Our family is happy that we chose them to handle our loved one's care and certainly recommend them.
