My Mother passed away a year ago. I couldn’t believe when I received a message from Cremation Society of IL telling me they were thinking about our family at this time. I was numb going into their doors a year ago and probably didn’t even realize how easy they made things for me but over time as I spoke to others about their experiences with other cremation agencies I knew I had found someone special. Not once did I feel pressure during the process. They handled everything for us. Then followed up by sending positive messages of support. Truly a unique organization. Eric was tactful, friendly and kind in guiding my family through the process (the cremation of our loved ones itself and necessary paperwork). I used the Cremation Society of Illinois a few weeks ago when my husband died after a long battle with cancer. Everyone I had contact with was professional and courteous. Eric at the office was wonderful at helping me select an urn, handle paperwork, and secure death certificates. The fellow Ben, who came to the house to collect my husband, treated him with such care, draped a flag over him, and played taps, while my family stood by. It was beautiful and meaningful. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience.

Eric and Elizabeth from Cremation Society of IL have been wonderful to work with. The attention to our family and the caring nature towards our deceased family member has been very comforting. They are impeccable communicators and have helped us navigate this difficult process with wonderful knowledge, patience and support.

My husband died a month ago after a brief illness that left me & his daughters in shock. We had long ago decided that we wanted to be cremated & thought about stopping at the Cremation Society of Illinois in Mt Prospect for information. We hadn’t but it was the first place I thought of to call when he died at the hospital. The staff was wonderful and with their caring & compassion made everything easy and less stressful. We had Mike and he explained the process & our choices and it felt like talking to an old friend. He kept us up to date on getting the death certificate signed, getting him picked up and on the cremation process. My daughters corresponded with him about ordering prayer cards and I’m still trying to decide what to put his ashes in. Elizabeth has been in touch to see how we all are doing & if there’s anything they can do for us. They are amazing people in the care & compassion & empathy they have. I highly recommend the Cremation Society of Illinois & their wonderful caring staff!

Even though our family had prepared The cremation process several years before it was necessary, when my husband died it was still very difficult for us. The first person I met was Eric and he was very supportive of our grief, and explained in great detail what we were to expect. At my second visit, I picked up the death certificates and received more council from Elizabeth about other offerings regarding estates and benefits that they offer. I am forever grateful to them for being with us and I highly recommend them and The cremation society in Mount prospect.

Mike was responsive and followed up with us throughout the process. He even acted as a liaison with the Anatomical Gift Association on our behalf. This helped us to begin to process our loss without worrying about the necessary paperwork required after a death. Thank you:)

I first spoke with Mike who was helpful and forthrite with the info I was going to need before my Mom passed. Then Erik was SUPER HELPFUL-patiently explaining the process and answering my questions. I highly recommend the Cremation Society-really professional and compassionate. I felt as tho my Mother was being cared for through the whole process. And After, Elizabeth called to check in on how I was doing. They cared for both of my parents. Highly highly recommend!
