My Mother passed away a year ago. I couldn’t believe when I received a message from Cremation Society of IL telling me they were thinking about our family at this time. I was numb going into their doors a year ago and probably didn’t even realize how easy they made things for me but over time as I spoke to others about their experiences with other cremation agencies I knew I had found someone special. Not once did I feel pressure during the process. They handled everything for us. Then followed up by sending positive messages of support. Truly a unique organization. I am grateful to the services that Cremation Society of Illinois-Mt. Prospect provides, as we have lost both my parents in the last year and a half. Thankfully, my parents had pre-purchased the packages which took care of all the arrangements necessary. I would highly recommend planning ahead, as it takes away from the added stress at the time. Eric and everyone at the Mt. Prospect location were so caring and supportive. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Eric and Elizabeth from Cremation Society of IL have been wonderful to work with. The attention to our family and the caring nature towards our deceased family member has been very comforting. They are impeccable communicators and have helped us navigate this difficult process with wonderful knowledge, patience and support.

My husband died a month ago after a brief illness that left me & his daughters in shock. We had long ago decided that we wanted to be cremated & thought about stopping at the Cremation Society of Illinois in Mt Prospect for information. We hadn’t but it was the first place I thought of to call when he died at the hospital. The staff was wonderful and with their caring & compassion made everything easy and less stressful. We had Mike and he explained the process & our choices and it felt like talking to an old friend. He kept us up to date on getting the death certificate signed, getting him picked up and on the cremation process. My daughters corresponded with him about ordering prayer cards and I’m still trying to decide what to put his ashes in. Elizabeth has been in touch to see how we all are doing & if there’s anything they can do for us. They are amazing people in the care & compassion & empathy they have. I highly recommend the Cremation Society of Illinois & their wonderful caring staff!

Steve and his staff are kind and caring. Their communication with me was sympathetic and accommodating. They made a great effort to acknowledge my feelings and needs.

Almost 20-years ago, my mother made arrangements with the Cremation Society of Illinois to take care of her when she passed. She had their card and phone number attached to a copy of her will to make it easier for her children - for whenever her time of death occurred. My mom died a couple months ago and I called the number on the Cremation Society’s card. From start to finish, they were helpful, understanding, and professional during our emotional times. In my profession, I recommend everyone have a plan in a safe space, that surviving family members can find and use at the time of their loved one’s death. And the Cremation Society of Illinois is one piece of that plan. I highly recommend them.
