The process of planning my cremation was simple, and way less costly than expected. The representative was thorough, informative, patient and respectful. I signed up immediately. It brought peace of mind knowing that my heir does not have to be financially responsible nor burdened with the administrative aspects of my death. Great customer service!

I had used the services of this society when my husband had passed away. After working in hospice and seeing what families go through I have to say that they were very understanding and worked with me once I found an affordable place in which to send my husband's remains. There are a lot of funeral homes that take advantage of this moment of need! In being so satisfied with the results of my husband's arrangement,I preplanned my own with this Society.

Michael helped me and my husband at a time of need during the holidays, We have never had to handle something like this before on our own. So when I reached out to The cremation and burial society had sent us to Michael in Harrisburg, PA They were wonderful all the way through, Explained each step of the way, We were able to hold a small private service in Harrisburg thanks to Micheal, and our loved one is now buried in Massachusetts her home state where she wanted to be. We couldn’t have done any of this without his help. I would highly recommend this place for a loved one because they take them in with care, The communication was wonderful he stayed in touch with us through everything explaining all we needed. It has taken me some time to write this review because it has been a very hard time through the holidays for us. But I just wanna reach out and thank everyone at the cremation and burial Society for all the help especially Michael.

They made my experience with losing my husband very easy to navigate and with the upmost care and compassion. I would definitely recommend working with Michael and the rest of the staff. Very caring , helpful and supportive.

My representative was very informative & helped me with the process. He explained everything in detail & walked me through it all. I was never pressured to buy anything. It took maybe 60 minutes for my husband & I to get everything taken care of. I would recommend this company to anyone thinking of cremation. The earlier you plan ahead, the easier it will be on your family.

They routinely didn't return phone calls, dealt with me bruskly at best and kept my relative's cremains and paperwork for four full weeks without any reasonable explanation. I literally had to show up at the office to get her! I got excuses and misleading information to my queries. No sense of empathy, compassion or professionalism. Steer clear.

The Cremation Society representatives were very knowledgeable and supporting in helping me go through my cremation planning. My father had gone through the same planning process and the Society helped reduce the stress and emotions that I went through when he passed.

Our family's experience with every staff person at the Cremation Society has been amazing. They have walked us thru grief, loss, closure, the difficult details, paperwork and costs of death with empathy, compassion and clarity. They did this twice - once with our father, most recently with our mother. Our parents had prepurchased their plan, which brought peace of mind and even more "simplicity" to the process. If I lived in PA or any state that the Cremation Society operates I would pre purchase their plan in a heart beat. Recommended without any hesitation.

They are the best. Thank for being compassionate and Sympathetic. I love the fact that you cover my daddy's face before you zipped up the bag.

They were so great. Walked me through the process and didn’t try to upscale me on what I decided on. They are so professional but also so caring during the hardest time in your life. They even contacted me several times to see how I was holding up. I would recommend them to everyone who is need of their services.
