My representative was very informative & helped me with the process. He explained everything in detail & walked me through it all. I was never pressured to buy anything. It took maybe 60 minutes for my husband & I to get everything taken care of. I would recommend this company to anyone thinking of cremation. The earlier you plan ahead, the easier it will be on your family.

Our family's experience with every staff person at the Cremation Society has been amazing. They have walked us thru grief, loss, closure, the difficult details, paperwork and costs of death with empathy, compassion and clarity. They did this twice - once with our father, most recently with our mother. Our parents had prepurchased their plan, which brought peace of mind and even more "simplicity" to the process. If I lived in PA or any state that the Cremation Society operates I would pre purchase their plan in a heart beat. Recommended without any hesitation.

They were so great. Walked me through the process and didn’t try to upscale me on what I decided on. They are so professional but also so caring during the hardest time in your life. They even contacted me several times to see how I was holding up. I would recommend them to everyone who is need of their services.

Excellent service and very caring during a very difficult time. They thoroughly explained the entire process and I always felt like my father's remains were in caring and capable hands. Process went very smoothly and their communication during the entire process was outstanding. I will be using The Cremation and Burial Society for my own services after seeing how well they cared for my father and our family.

My mom was a planner, paid for the service ahead of time… 11 years ago. They were so caring and sensitive during this difficult period time upon arrival and transporting her back to the crematory. Our follow up call with Joseph was absolutely wonderful, he explained everything in great detail went over my mother’s prepaid package with us and really put our minds at ease. Joseph was so responsive to emails and followed up with phone calls almost instantly. The only complaint…I guess you can call it that, was there was a little confusion about them reaching out when everything was ready to be picked up. ( 2 weeks time frame) That did put a little bit of stress on us, but I understand things happen. If I decide to go the cremation route, I will definitely be utilizing the prepaid arrangement ahead so I do not need to burden my children with these decisions.

The Cremation and Burial Society of Pennsylvania was so helpful to us. They were professional, straightforward and kind. They let us know what the scope of their services were without any hint of pressure to sell us anything except exactly what we wanted. They answered all of our questions and smoothed the way at a very difficult time for us. They were transparent about the financial aspect of their services and were very competitive in terms of pricing. I am glad we choose them.

We had an amazing experience with exception to a miss communication with the balance owed they are working with us but really dont like that they are holding my Father's remains and death certificates until balance is paid in full which we were not informed about in advance, my Father passed 10/17/25 and they have helped us as much as possible with the bill just wish we would get more communication on what is going on since its now 11/13/25 and I had to email last week for an update it took days to get a response to inform us he had been cremated but no death certificates yet, and we are still waiting for dad to be home it maybe months if they are keeping him until balance is paid.
