We insulated and added ventilation to this cathedral ceiling in Honesdale, Pa today. Baffles vents were installed first, running all the way from the soffit to the ridge vent. This created an air channel to flow to properly vent the roof deck. R38 fiberglass bats were then installed to provide proper rvalue.
