1. PIR Which stands for ‘passive infra red’, will switch the light on when movement is detected. These fittings operate at 6-12m range and offer adjustable settings in order to control the duration the light is on for.
2. Dusk to Dawn (photocell sensor)
The light is activated when it gets dark, and turns off when it gets light. These can be combined with timers to provide bespoke switching which suits any specific requirements you may have.
