Here are a couple of tips to help you celebrate safely this Christmas:
1) Don't overload your sockets; if you are lucky enough to have lots of new gadgets and toys in the house this Christmas, you might struggle to find enough sockets to plug them into and resort to using extension leads. If you do, be mindful of what you are plugging in and do not exceed the 13 amps a standard plug can supply.
2) Test your smoke alarms; Christmas is a time to celebrate but it's also a time when there are a few more fire hazards to consider, from candles to Christmas lights. Give yourself the peace of mind to relax and enjoy by checking that your smoke detectors are functioning.
