Seeing as many social gatherings are going held outdoors for the time being, we have put together a few ideas to help you prepare your outdoor electrics.
Perhaps you don't have any garden electrics yet, if so you might be pleased to hear that it can be surprisingly reasonable to have an outdoor socket installed and can be easily extended into outdoor lighting.
That aside, here are our tips:
- There are a huge array of exterior lights available which all serve a different purpose, whether it's a floodlight to illuminate a large space or some feature lights to add character - well thought out lighting has a big impact.
- Infrared heaters are widely available and work brilliantly outdoors, allowing you to stay out even when the sun starts setting.
- Check over your outdoor electrics every 6 months or so, ensuring the installation is in good condition and has not been damaged.
