Are your detectors in date?
Did you know that all smoke, heat, and carbon monoxide detectors have an expiry date?
Even if you test your detectors regularly and they are working, it’s important to check their expiry date, this should be written on the unit itself. If you find you have an out of date detector, it should be replaced. This is due to the fact that the sensors degrade over time and can potentially become less reliable.
If it’s time to replace your detectors, please don’t hesitate to get in touch today.
