Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of staying at Countryside Cottage in Tangmarg, under the Gulmarg region, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional! From the very start, Khalid, our host, ensured we felt welcomed and taken care of. He provided a pick-up in a Toyota Innova at a very affordable price and even carried our luggage to our room. The hospitality was truly top-notch, with a warm welcome and attentive care throughout our stay. The cottage itself is surrounded by stunning views of apple orchards, which we got to explore with Khalid's guidance. He explained the different varieties of apples and let us sample them, which was a delightful experience. We also enjoyed a delicious biryani that truly tantalized our taste buds and traditional Kashmiri Kahwa, a type of tea that was simply perfect. One of the unique features of the cottage is the "Hamam", A stone that heats the floor, making it wonderfully warm and cozy. The comfort level was outstanding with extra bedding and pillows provided. Even the breakfast the next morning was fantastic, with a classic omelette, bread, and Kashmiri chai. Overall, this stay was a five-star experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Khalid, for the exceptional hospitality!

Countryside Cottages, Tangmarg – A Nature-Lover’s Paradise ❤️ Countryside Cottages, located in Tangmarg, is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have ever stayed. The cottage is surrounded by lush apple orchards, which makes the atmosphere incredibly refreshing and scenic. Staying here even for one night felt like a perfect escape into nature. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host, who is also the owner, was extremely friendly, warm-hearted, and welcoming. He personally looked after everything and ensured we felt completely at home. His humble nature and genuine hospitality truly added great value to the stay. I highly recommend Countryside Cottages, Tangmarg, to anyone looking for a serene location, beautiful apple orchards, and exceptional hospitality. A truly lovely place that I would love to visit again ❤️🍎

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Countryside Cottage near Gulmarg from January 22nd to 24th 2026. The highlight of the trip was the beautiful snowfall on the night of the 22nd—it turned the entire place into a winter wonderland! ​The cottage itself is stunning and very comfortable, but what truly made the stay special was the host, Mr. Khalid. He is a true gentleman and a very sweet man who ensures his guests feel right at home. If you are looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway near Gulmarg, I cannot recommend this place enough!

We had an amazing stay Khalid, his brother Javeed, and the whole family really took care of us. Every meal was excellent Real home cooking. They introduced us to their friend at Gulmarg ski adventre and he got us the best equipment for snowboarding. We felt like family staying there. I highly recommend Country Side Cottage. 5 Stars!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this countryside cottage. The setting was peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by nature and perfect for a relaxing break. The cottage itself was clean, cozy, and well equipped with everything we needed. Mornings were especially lovely, enjoying the quiet and views, and evenings felt comfortable and homely. The hosts were friendly and helpful,Especially KHALID,making the whole experience easy and welcoming. A perfect place to unwind and escape the busy pace of everyday life.

Looks like home. Host mr kalid and his family treated us has own family members. 2 times we came late in night, Dear kalid stayed on road with torch.daily he was calling us taking care on our complete tour . He arranged cab also. So much of love and care never seen . We had kashmiri mutton Biryani at dinner and had some chit chat like a old school friend. Really great experience.

Recently we travelled family of 5 to Kashmir (Heaven of earth) with the help of tour Operator Countryside Cottage near Gulmarg (Owner Mr. Khalid) All Arrangements & Coordination done By him self & he made our complete itinerary with very reasonable price in short time he (Covered full Kashmir), He has done all arrangements properly & prepared Special Kashmiri Biryani & Special Kashmiri food for us in his Cottage & many Items etc Mr. Khalid made our trip wonderful & unforgettable. Hotel, Houseboat, Driver, Guide, Shikhara ride, Sideseeing all was outstanding, they truly helped us to capture golden moment, I will definitely recommend to all my friends and Relatives who ever planning travel for Kashmir.
