Country Life Assisted Living

I love Country Life Assisted Living. I was looking for a place for my momma about Four years ago and this place came up as one of the options. When I visited I knew this was the perfect place for her. Why you ask? Because they had activities, it was small, it was setup like a home and she had roommates. My momma was a people person and loved to always have someone around. What was also so amazing about this place was they let her have a garden, they would cook the special food she bought at the store and she was allowed to feed the neighbors cats. And during my mom’s final days she was given the love and respect she deserved. We had the room to ourselves to spend with her until it was her time to go home. I can’t say enough about the staff. They became family as well as the other residents. I highly recommend. Love, love, love them!!!

Our mom was fortunate enough to get to be part of this loving home . And I say Home and mean it in every word . She was cared for and even allowed to have a small vegetable garden which she so enjoyed . She would give her peppers and tomatoes to the staff to add to the menu . The staff have been so kind to myself and our family in every way . They still to this day stay in touch with us just making sure we are doing ok . You can’t say this for many places these days . Our mom Linda Swiggett lived here for 3.8 years til this past February (2026)when she received her wings and flew to her forever home in Heaven . My heart goes out to this staff and I will always have a special place in my heart for them . They do the job I know I couldn’t do and the Lord knows I tried . It takes a very big heart and big patients to go to work daily and deal with all the needs our ( cool kids) need .i call them the cool kids because I want to one day be so full of spirit and life as these sweet people do at their late years .
