Very nice store :D Selection is great and has kept improving over time! Workers are always nice, even let me bring my bike inside and prop it next to the desk while I shop

I will not specify how they helped me, but I was in a pickle with laundry and the gentleman was super helpful. Any time I am walking in the neighborhood, I’ll pop in. Did not need to help me out. Very kind. Nice to see a corner store that is still old schoolz.

This convient little corner store is just a 4 minute walk from where I am staying. I am new to the area and am still learning the area. I have been impressed with the selection of items this store has to offer. The prices are not too expensive either. It would of course be cheaper to go to the actual grocery store but for a quick close pick up this store is has satisfied my every need. The staff is super friendly and down to earth. I found myself laughing making jokes with them. I was very impressed with there wine selection also. I havent had a bad experience at this store. Customers seem to really genuinely care about the staff as well seeing how another lady customer voiced her concern of the little kitty that used to walk around in the store, the cat had been put down that day so they were a little bit emotional. But it was nice to see people in the community care so much about a store and the staff and there animal. Seem like good people to me. It's refreshing seeing stores and people care about each other like that in this day and age.

Friendly cashiers and I love that this store has everything you need! I was super happy they had classic ice cream bars like push ups and bomb Pop! The candy is old school and any drink you can think of is there. Heck yeah 👍

This Corner Store is a Corner Stone for our North Slope community. A friendly, kind, and family run local business. They carry a huge variety of products in a classic small corner store space. From Advil to toilet paper, they keep this neighborhood stocked and served with a warm heart! A true treasure.

The owners, Jin and Tom are a cool father & son. The day and early evening employees are easy to deal with. This is an oldschool neighborhood store. You’ll find alcohol, caffeinated bevs, tobacco etc. and all the other usual vices like scratch tickets. Candy and ice cream selections are very adequate. People b!tch about higher prices but I’d rather support these guys than a corporate gas station owned by a sinister oil conglomerate. It’s a CONVENIENCE store. I’m willing to pay for the convenience of walking my dog down there and not having to drive (btw: leash your dog while inside the store FFS!). I’ll also gladly pay a few cents more to support a Northwest family business. Be nice to the people who work here. They have to deal with a lot of drunks and nasty aggro people. They close at 8 or 9pm, but that’s for the safety of the store’s customers and employees. This part of the neighborhood is pretty mellow, but Hank’s, across the street is known for over-serving blacked out customers. Every once in a while I encounter a$$holes on that corner but usually not before dark.

If you’re lucky enough to visit here, you’ll be at the corner of niceness and happiness, the intersection of hospitality and customer service, the crossroads of neighborliness and warmth. Convenient indeed, the store epitomizes its category. Corner Store, you’ve cornered my heart.

North slope life in the 1990s included this store being the first place I spent my allowance, back then a bag of potato chips was 50 cents, and bubbalicious chewing gum was what the cool kids chewed. I grew up with this store, had some wild adventures in here as a kid and I still make a habit of coming down here to grab candy, soda, or chips. It's the corner store!

I give 2 star because beer is expensive & thats the only thing I shop there for. However, I was tripping acid once and thought I seen a cat open the door & walk in. I was pretty sure it wasn't the drugs, so I go in and ask the clerk if a cat walked in. He said yes. I wouldn't avoid this place but others are cheaper. Seems a bit more local-ish tho. Decent place just not cheap beer.
