Did you know that Wisconsin is NOT a next-of-kin state? This means that if you are ever unable to make your own health care decisions, that ability does not automatically go to your spouse, parents, children, etc. It is recommended that everyone over the age of 18 have a POA-HC/ Advance Directives on file.
On March 11th, 1:00-5:00, we have invited Advance Care Planning Specialists from ThedaCare to join us for an afternoon to assist with answering questions and assisting with completion of The Power of Attorney Healthcare Documents.
This is an event open to all Residents, Family, Staff, and Friends that do not yet have these Documents on file.
