A truly wonderful space with the most attentive hosts in Steve and Melissa. The cabin was everything we wanted it to be and more, our boys were utterly delighted with the upstairs soft play area and plentiful toys and books to keep them amused. This allowed us parents to actually sit down in relative peace for a time and stare into the warming fire.....priceless! The surrounding environment was fantastic for us as a family, the animals were friendly and our boys enjoyed being part of the feeding time. Having the outdoor park, mud kitchen, indoor soft play, games room and crazy golf meant we didn't have to leave to find entertainment. Many thanks Steve, Melissa and all the animals.

Have had a wonderful stay at Coombe Meadow! The location: close to the coast and central to Cornwall, but also very secluded. Once outside at the lodges, you'll hear nothing but the birds and the river. Very quiet and idyllic. Our lodge was very good; high-end and luxurious feeling. First class wood burner as well (our host Steve made sure there was plenty of properly dried wood). As for the kids: a full floor (attic) of toys, a soft play area, a games/play room for rainy days, full outdoor playground with large number of slides, and a large number of animals: guinea pigs, chickens which can be picked up, inquisitive goats, sheep and fallow deer. The animals can be fed in nearly daily feeding rounds. Highlight for us was searching for an antler the stag had shed! In other words: for our kids it was an adventure! They very much enjoyed it! (and were sad to leave) Host Steve was always around, ready to help or make a small chat. He also responds quickly if something's up or if you have a question. With the quality of the lodges, the location and all the items around the house in mind, the price is very, very reasonable... Undoubtedly forgetting a few things which make for a lovely stay - which actually sums it up quite nicely: high-end & enjoyable lodges which make for a great vacation! Would definitely very much recommend!
