Actual miracle workers! Fe and David are the best around. I have a leather jacket from my Father-in-law from the 1960's that was severely neglected. 3 other places turned me away but Fe and David were up to the task. They brought this jacket back to life and I couldn't be happier. The price also couldn't be beat! Extremely fair and they finished the work so quickly. I will take any leather that needs fixing to Cool Cat Alterations every time! Thank you Fe and David!

Fe did an amazing job putting some new buttons on my blazers and sewing a large patch on my sweater. She was also a pleasure to talk to. 10/10 and will definitely make use of her services in the future

Uhhhh...No. Zero stars if possible. When a business needs to tell you: - how long they that they have been in "doing this" and of their success in a distant past - that they are the "only" people who can perform a the work properly and "no one else, anywhere" can do better - that you "don't understand how things are done" and proceed to tell you that they will do things "their way" while completely ignoring the your wishes and desired outcome... ...then they usually are not very good...stay away businesses like this! Working out of a small apartment, this husband/wife team is generally cordial, but, honestly, their work is awful. I come from a family of seamtresses and custom tailors, and know from what I speak: I gave them an assortment of light leather things and nylon bags, which, were fairly done fairly competent, but they took to thickly "bolstering" behind to sew to, rather than opening up, repairing and neatly closing. It was a really bad amateur shortcut. The hand-stitching to sew the lining closed on a jacket was just awful, like it was done by a child! The last straw with this business was when I rejected a crooked hand-sewn strap loop on a nylon Tumi briefcase. I had showed them them the clean factory work on the "good" opposite side to copy from, and I was told, "Oh, what's the big deal, you will never see it. Besides, it's a cheap bag." Are you kidding? These are a sure signs that someone is a hack. I asked and got my money back and took it to a real professional to get done properly. This was a complete waste of my time and money..

Wow! So blown away by the quality of the work. I had a leather bag and a pair of boots repaired and they both look great. Turnover time and price were both very reasonable. I’m so glad to know these guys are in Kingston!

We thought we were at the wrong address - this business is run out of their apartment. We almost didn’t go in. But I’m glad we did. They are a sweet couple who did a great job repairing the soles on a pair of vintage boots my daughter bought. The price was fair and the work was excellent.

Incredible tailor, exceptional work, and A+ service! I was on the hunt for someone with that special “Tailor’s Eye,” and Fé at Cool Cat is it. She did an exceptional job on three pairs of pants, and made a lovely cuff on one of them. Cool Cat also brought one of my favorite pairs of shoes back to life! 10/10 recommend.

INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! I have a pair of black lugged converse (no longer made, unfortunately) that needed some serious repairs/replacement of the sole. I had never taken in shoes or clothes for repair, but Fe made me feel super comfortable. She is so sweet and kind!! I got my shoes back a week later and they're LIKE NEW!!! Even better than new!!! Coolcat even untied some of the most stubborn knots ever on my laces that had spawned in through the past couple years. This is the place to go for your alterations or clothing and shoe repair. I've had multiple pairs of my jeans fixed here and a pair of boots resoled. I recently had a pair of Jeans that I thought of throwing away but I took them to her and she fixed them perfectly. Great service done in a timely manner.
