⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (3.5/5) – Solid Black-Owned Business with Quality, But Pricy for Visitors Cool J’s in Lauderhill Mall is a neat, well-organized spot carrying popular brand shoes and men’s/older boys’ fashion, with a smaller selection for elementary-aged kids. The store layout was clean, and the two fitting rooms with a full-body mirror made trying things on easy. The clothing quality definitely stood out—well-stitched, sturdy fabrics, and stylish designs that felt worth the craftsmanship. That said, the prices were steep, especially for travelers or those used to mass-produced retail. Spending $60–$90 on a T-shirt had me side-eyeing my wallet, even if the designs were fresh. However, after chatting with the staff, I learned that some pieces are locally made right here in South Florida by Black designers and artisans. That context made the higher price tag more understandable—supporting small-scale production and Black-owned creativity comes at a premium. I ended up buying a few items to support the mission, and I don’t regret it. But if you’re on a tight budget or expecting mall-chain prices, this might not be your everyday stop. For those who value community-backed fashion and unique styles, though, it’s worth checking out. A little pricey, but you can feel good about where your money’s going.

Customers service is trash the new guy highly is disrespectful I even tried letting him know there’s a better way to go about doing your job and he replied with he’s doing good and also lied on me Putting words in my month when describing our conversation I do not appreciate this kind of service im typically here at this location and have never been treated like this I will be going above and beyond to make sure this does not happen again I will be contacting the necessary parties to rectify this situation.
