qEEG Brain Mapping is a fascinating tool to help clients understand their unique brain functions. Let's break down a brain map together!
In this pattern, we are seeing slowing in the brain in the right frontal, temporal and occipital lobes (the red spots in 1-2HZ). This can be associated with a head injury, emotional trauma and/or chemical exposure. The likely creates symptoms of brain fog, memory issues and low energy. Sleep quality is likely poor for this client.
The yellow pocked in the back of 8-9 HZ is associated with the client's processing speed - they are likely a smart cookie and able to take information in efficiently/quickly!
The red pocket in the frontal lobe and midline noted in 12-20 HZ is likely due to a stimulant, such as Adderall and is associated with motivation, energy and forward thinking thought processing. This tends to feel good, like our natural cup of coffee!
