I HIGHLY recommend the services of Concierge Dolomites. Our day in the Dolomites with our driver Matteo was one we will never forget, simply amazing!! We trusted him with his recommended itinerary, which took us to scenic stops less visited and away from the crowd of tourists. His passion for and knowledge of the mountains is evident at every turn. You will be left speechless and breathless. We look forward to returning and spending more time with Matteo.

My rental car canceled last minute and I needed an alternate solution to see the Dolomites with my family. When I found Mateo with Concierge Dolomites it was music to my ears. Not only was he available last minute, but he had an amazing comfortable vehicle and was an incredible guide. This is not just a driving experience. I showed him many photograph spots I wanted to go and he didn’t just take me to those places but he took me spots I never would be able to find without knowing a local. He even was tracking the weather to make sure we went to certain places when there were less clouds out so I could get better photos. There was one longer hike my wife and I were concerned about doing with our 1 year old. Not only did he do the entire hike with us, take photos and videos for us, he even offered to hold our baby during parts that were difficult for my wife. And his prices were the most affordable out of anyone I’ve found in the Dolomites. If you have read this review just save yourself time and don’t look for other companies, go with him. We booked Matteo to drive us through the Dolomites from Bolzano and he exceeded our expectations! He had great stories on the road and he took us to places we would have never known to go see without his expertise. The area is incredible, absolutely life changing exploring, and Matteo was a friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy guide. He took us to several towns, on some light hikes and made sure we got excellent food. He helped us again the following day with a ride out of Bolzano when our original plans fell through. I will use these people again, fantastic service all around.

Concierge Dolomites 6 STAR WORTHY DOLOMITES EXCURSION Matteo Mizzon was recommended to us by TommasoSerena the Guest Relations manager, at Castel Hörtenberg in Bolzano. This was the first time my friend, and I were hiring Matteo, so we had concerns that it might not meet our expectations. He arrived in a comfortable, Mercedes minivan which allowed us ample room, and large windows to view all the sites as we were driving. He customized our trip according to our preferences, and gave us a truly tailored itinerary, just for us. His vast knowledge of the history of South Tyrol, and the formation of the Dolomites/topography was impressive. I have been to this region 3 times prior, and learned so much. He took us to the best, non-touristy restaurants which had the most delicious food, and had quality menu options for my friend who is gluten-free. He also knew the best retailers with quality leather goods, and cashmere at very reasonable prices. My friend, and I absolutely loved the EXPERIENCE Matteo created for us!

We had an amazing experience with Matteo at Concierge Dolomites. From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and thoughtfully organized. We always felt safe with all the drivers, they were not only skilled and reliable, but also warm, friendly, and eager to share local history, which made our journeys even more enjoyable. Every excursion was perfectly planned and punctual. Visiting the lakes was a highlight, and our day exploring Alpe di Siusi and Ortisei was truly unforgettable. It made such a difference having drivers who are so familiar with the area, especially when navigating the narrow and winding mountain roads of the Dolomites. Matteo was an absolute superstar today. We highly recommend him. His ability to craft a day trip which took into account the weather, and navigating away from the crowds was (quite honestly) flippin’ fantastic. If you are sitting on the fence, I encourage you to trust Matteo and go with his recommendations. We did and we had a fabulous day. My teenagers (not always easy to impress) thought he was. legend.

Matteo is one of the best guides you could ever ask for. I spent great doing small hikes in the dolomites. He stopped nearby great views and we took beautiful pictures.

We toured the Dolomites region by car on October 17 with Matteo Mizzon as our guide. He drove us for almost 11 hours and truly made the most of an otherwise dreary and wet day. Matteo knows the area like the palm of his hand, including the critical photography points (almost to the last meter!). We could not see some of the highlights -Tri’ Cimi- due to poor weather but Matteo managed to take us to alternative places -such as the extraordinary fall foliage colors of the Dolomites- and also risked going to areas without knowing beforehand whether there’d be fog. And he did so with great success (we enjoyed lakes Dobbiaco and de Braies, for example). Matteo is very knowledgeable, multilingual and an extremely personable and pleasant guide. His driving on the narrow and winding mountain roads was impeccable, ensuring nervous passengers would be not consumed by vertigo. And his knowledge of the area’s history made the drive thoroughly enjoyable. I would readily recommend his services.

Wow. This was the best part of our trip to Bolzano. Matteo was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. He is so kind and knowledgeable. Matteo picked us up from our hotel on time and spent then next 9 hours with us. He took us all over to see different views of the Dolomites, taught us about the history of the area, and allowed us to get out and explore and take pictures and videos. He is a great photographer too! We had the most scenic lunch with him at a beautiful restaurant where he translated every item to English (from German!). We loved every minute of the trip and are so thankful we chose Matteo. He has some great stories and a great sense of humor as well. The car was nice and comfortable. 10/10 we will back back someday.
